We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for conducting engineering, process and financial tasks during project development.
You will participate in high-level analysis focused on components of bundled sales, helping assess new projects and determine design needs and budget.
Your responsibilities will include mentoring and supervising junior engineers, promoting collaborative problem-solving and guiding professional development within the team.
You will also lead large, multidisciplinary projects for clients in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries, ensuring compliance with international standards.
In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across southeast Asia, India and Korea to address customer inquiries.
Other responsibilities include providing pre-sales support to the Sales team, performing design and preparing engineering drawings (2D) and documentation as per customer's/project requirements.
You will also provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customers' requirements.
Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements is also part of your role.
Last but not least, you will liaise and maintain a good relationship with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

As the Quality Engineer you will perform quality assurance and quality control reviews, track, and manage design drawings, specifications and documents prepared during the engineering design process in order to ensure regulatory, legal, and security compliance. Key job responsibilities
- Manage simultaneous projects' engineering drawings, specifications, and documents and run the workflows where you engage with the correct stakeholders across the organization to raise the bar in the quality and the coherence of the content of the package provided.
- Perform quality review of technical documentation for accuracy and contract compliance
- Perform engineering quality assurance and engineering quality control reviews for all design drawings, prior to submission to Construction for builds.
- Provide coordination of all engineering and architectural specifications, design drawings, and permit submittals for projects
- Support the design managers to prepare complete and accurate documentation at various design phases and during construction hand off, including but not limited to drawings, specifications, bill of materials, calculations, etc
- Manage project archiving, tracking, processing and filing activities, assist in naming standard, versioning schema, etc.
- Set up and work on training initiatives for our internal and external partners, and provide tactical support
- Prepare ad hoc reports on project's progress, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and progress tracking
- Collaborate with technical teams in a fast-paced environment with showed ability to edit and raise the bar on high-quality technical documentation
- Configuration Analyst/System Owner for DE design documents
- Lead and drive process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design / redesign (long-term wins) efforts
- Manage a portfolio of projects in an assigned region
- Maintain and add user accounts, security groups, and permission access levels
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation o Attend team meetings and communicate updates or requirements

AWS Quality Assurance Engineers have knowledge of the commercial industry design and construction process, experience reviewing technical and contractual documentation, and strong communication skills.
In this role, you will deep dive documentation for completeness, update and create procedures to optimize workflows, and look for improvement opportunities.
As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will manage the intake of design consultant documentation, review documentation for quality compliance and completeness, and update stakeholders with progress of the final workflow documentation processing. High volumes of documentation review are part of this role and you will need to exercise strong judgement on how to communicate and engage stakeholders through various tools.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or architecture
- Experience as a project engineer for large commercial construction projects or experience in the design or construction industry

The Senior Mechanical Engineer, Digital Microscope is responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging. The incumbent will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs, as well as direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication. He or she will provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
This position reports to the Hardware Manager and is part of the Life Cycle Management team of Research & Development division located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Support engineering changes, kaizen & investigate design/quality issues.
+ Interact with suppliers and operations for design & tooling fabrication.
+ Support design review qualification process, verification & validation, PLM, BOM, and technical documentation.
+ Participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
+ Hands-on experience in the assembly of prototype modules and supporting root cause analysis.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in an R&D/manufacturing environment and at least 2 full product development cycles.
+ Experience in metal and plastic parts (aluminium die casting, solid machining, extrusion, sheet metal, plastic injection molding, jig & fixture, and rapid prototyping).
+ Exposure to PCBA, connectors, fasteners, EMI/EMC, wires/cables routing, and working knowledge of Mechanical CAD, 3D modelling (preferably in Creo 4 or IDEAS).
+ General understanding of optical system design, high precision mechanisms, DFM and DFA concepts, including Poka Yoke, and prior working experience with industrial design, production process, sourcing, regulatory, and quality functions.
+ Familiar with DFMEA & tolerance analysis stack-up calculations, good knowledge of mechanical drawings & dimensioning, including GD&T, basic CAE simulations (stress & thermal), Ansys or Creo Simulate skills and exposure to lifecycle/reliability tests and system integration.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design experience in Mission Critical Environments
