Who We Look For:
AM Fixed Income Portfolio Management Technology team is a global front-office Engineering team responsible for building software, developing technical solutions, and supporting the AM Fixed Income business, with a focus on the Portfolio Management & Trading functions. Our business data and data platforms sit at the center of all functions and workflows, driving business initiatives.
We are looking for innovative and experienced software engineers to join our Data Platform team. This team owns all data-related solutions built for our business functions and systems, and members of the team work closely with all other teams across regions and divisions to build modern data platforms. Additionally, the team develops and supports the tools used across the Portfolio Management and Trading functions for local Asia business units.
Skills And Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on back-end developer with minimum of 1 year of experience building enterprise software
- Willingness to work across the stack on both front-end and back-end projects
- Proficient in at least one OOP language like Java. Eager to learn new ones including functional programming languages
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including database design best practices
- Possess clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
- Fully understand software development lifecycle best practices. Familiar with DevOps tools such as Gitlab
- Possess good end user oriented service mindset
- Good team player and comfortable working with remote teams
Skills And Experience Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Extensive experience in data platforms
- Experience in the financial industry
