Role

• Owning and driving the P&L aspirations for the product lines in Asia Pacific, in close coordination with the regional D&S business leads and specialist sales teams in the region.

Title and Summary
Vice President, Access & Gateways, Asia Pacific Overview:Responsible for leading the Access & Gateways team in the Asia Pacific Region. He/she will be responsible for design & execute the regional Access & Gateways strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage the Mastercard Access & Gateways Services offer, assuring excellent service level to existing customers and growing the customer and Mastercard’s revenues, while meeting strategic product objectives at regional and market level.
The Vice President, Product Management, Access & Gateways for Asia Pacific will support development and execution of the product strategy, product roadmap, go-to market, and functional and technical requirements definition. This leader has accountability for creating the product strategies that will drive significant growth and for articulating the local market requirements for successful commercialization in the region. The Access and Gateways product portfolio includes - payment gateway, network gateway and account-to-account gateway.
Role:
• Create regional strategic business plans and product strategies working with the relevant leads and deliver on agreed metrics.
• Lead and manage a team of regional & local product managers based in key countries markets covering the entire Access & Gateway product offer, focusing on the key strategic Regional and country objectives
• Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, customers’ product strategy, region conditions, and industry characteristics as they relate to products and platforms offerings
• Responsible for developing the Mastercard Access & Gateways commercial strategy for the Markets in the region in terms of customers to be approached, product needs, business plans (revenues and costs).
• Serve as senior level contributor in expanding upon current capabilities to improve existing services, particularly in response to regional trends
• Communication and coordination with the central product development teams to highlight product innovation opportunities emerging within customers, region and among consumers.
• Work in close collaboration with expert sales and account management to ensure disciplined approach to sales and relationship management efforts to drive long-term value creation for customers, partners and Mastercard
• Hold self and team accountable for meeting key metrics & KPIs (Access & Gateways revenue, customer sign ups, sales pipeline, etc.).
• Develop strong internal executive level partnerships to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support.
• Develop a strong team through direct involvement in recruiting, team building, coaching and developing staff.
