Youth Work Associate / Snr Youth Work Associate will be working with the youths staying in an institutional facility, which focus on community rehabilitation. List of responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage the welfare, discipline and standards of regimentation in the institution
- Support the shift during emergency
- Deliver Trauma-informed practices in daily interactions
- Ensure safety and security of premises, include perform body & property check, carry out security patrols, dormitory checks and conduct urine test (when necessary)
- Manage and provide care for the daily living needs of the residents in the Hostel
- Plan and conduct engagement activities in educational and recreational programmes for the residents
- Able to develop positive relationship with the residents
- Facilitate proactive and restorative circles (attain competence)
- Involve in admission process
- Involve in taskforce, to assist and execute tasks required from the taskforce.
