We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer (Scientific Analytical Instrument) to support our customers by providing after-sales technical services for scientific and analytical instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, with hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, calibration, and servicing of analytical equipment. This role involves direct interaction with customers at their sites and requires a strong understanding of scientific analyzers and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, training, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments at customer sites.
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers, ensuring minimum downtime and high satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation related to each site visit or technical activity.
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Applications, Technical Support) to address customer requirements and feedback.
- Ensure adherence to company safety, quality, and service protocols.
- Assist in product demonstrations or technical presentations if required.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and timely support.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering , or an equivalent qualification.
- 2–4 years of experience in servicing scientific or analytical instruments is preferred.
- Technical understanding of scientific analyzers and laboratory instrumentation (e.g.,Fluorescence, Particle Size Analyzer, Spectroscopy, etc.) would be advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on-site.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally for on-site service assignments.

Primary Position Objective
The primary role of a Field Service Technician is to be a team-player in the Service team, delivering quality service to our client. This candidate must possess good relevant technical skillsets and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities

- Review and support the Shift Lead on all equipment issues and performances so to prepare the customer report.

- Exercises every available measure to control and minimize costs.

Qualifications
Education/Training
Diploma or equivalent technical training on Electrical/ Electronic, IT, Hydraulics and Air-conditioning Systems. Candidates on Higher Nitec with relevant experience will be considered as well.
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
Knowledge/Skills
Individuals should possess good communications skills and have a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork. Must be responsive to all customer issues at all times. Class 3 driving license is strongly preferred.
Supervises
While supervision is not considered a primary responsibility of this position, there may be instances where supervision of others on a project basis may be required
