• Execute bioclimatic analysis in building simulations to identify environmental strengths and weaknesses of a design and recommend measures to optimize the design from the environmental perspective;
• Provide Energy Consultancy and energy modelling to identify the most energy efficient system for a building;
• Lead in delivering Green Certification project management.

Research Opportunities in Sustainable Materials Design

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science, chemical engineering, chemistry, physics or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in operando imaging guided materials design for sustainability
• Develop and apply optical instrumentation, single-molecule/super-resolution microscopy, magnetic/optical tweezers, ultrafast spectroscopy, or other in-situ operando imaging tools
• Use machine learning for materials discovery or quantitative image analysis, DFT calculations for catalyst design, and experience with MATLAB/Python/AutoCAD/COMSOL
• Perform organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, synthesis of inorganic nanomaterials, micro/nano-fabrications, genetic engineering of microorganisms
• Conduct techno-economic analysis of sustainability technologies

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields
• Highly motivated, committed, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Good communication skills in English (both written and oral)
