- Lead the development of new strategies and care models to better meet the emerging needs and new trends for community care, specifically in mental health (mood and psychiatric disorders) and youth population:
- Lead the strategic engagement with key stakeholders to co-develop integrated youth mental health ecosystems and contribute to policy review and pilot implementation at national level
- Lead the mental health and youth clinical team to conduct research and horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, service gaps, and project needs
- Development of service and care models for people with mental health, youth and caregiver support programmes and facilities design and programming
- Oversee the conceptualization, planning and implementation of new delivery models to meet the emerging needs such as young adult/youth, dual disability and caregiver programmes, in collaboration with stakeholders and industry players towards population health approach
- Provide guidance to the clinical team who will provide clinical inputs to Ministries/agencies and other Divisions for the purpose of policy review and service planning
- Support the HOD to develop, manage and integrate the youth mental health ecosystem through collaborative partnership and standardisation of system level enablers to achieve seamless structure and processes in identification, referral and management of clients
- Work with RHS to identify community providers as partners within the region for the development of youth mental health ecosystem.

- Oversee the implementation and evaluation of new youth pilot programmes contribute to the revision of the community mental health masterplan:
- Lead the youth mental health team in needs assessments, evidence review and engagement with external stakeholders (e.g. IHLs, MOE, MSF, NCSS, NYC, SportsSg), funders (e.g. MOH, TFC, TB) to develop, collaborate and pilot on new outreach/technology strategies and care models to meet emerging trends, service gaps, and project needs.
- Lead the new development of youth centric outreach and intervention service and care models for youths with mental health needs, service redesign and programming.
- Provide guidance to the youth team on presenting evidence-based recommendations in representations to Ministries and agencies for policy review and service planning for the youth population.
- Lead the review and development of the psychiatric ILTC services to better meet the evolving needs of persons with mental health conditions and their caregivers:
- Support MHO in the following:
- Conduct research and horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, service gaps, and project needs
- Review existing psychiatric ILTC services to identify gaps and needs
- Development of psychiatric care models for people with mental health, youth and caregiver support programmes and facilities design and programming
