Recruitment Specialist

The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for the entire recruitment process to ensure smooth operations.

This role involves general permanent staffing in the commercial space. The specialist will work with clients' orders and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates.

  • To provide total solutions to clients' staffing needs by identifying opportunities to cross-sell other services and products.
  • To meet monthly sales targets in GP & Contribution.
  • Represent both employer and employee, manage and retain clients and candidates.
  • Communicate terms and conditions of business including pricing (with appropriate approval) and guarantee provisions with clients.
  • Understand job scope and requirements from clients before proceeding to source.
  • Attract, select and present quality candidates who match specific recruitment needs of our clients.
  • Match candidate to right job and provide opportunities to candidate.
  • Manage and retain good candidates.
  • Prepare written and verbal applicant resume summaries and brief candidates on position & interview.
  • Build strong relationship with clients and candidates, maintain existing client relationships to ensure repeat buying and extension of services within account.
  • Regular client visits.
  • Ensure all documentations are properly recorded in system.
  • Adhere to all quality procedures and recommend enhancements to operations, procedure or policy to ensure environment of continual improvement.
Requirements
  • CEI certification.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in recruitment or target-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge in staffing techniques and labour regulations.
  • Possess high degree of diplomacy and tact in managing issues and difficult situations.
  • Actively involved in highly dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Assist with payroll processing, leave tracking, and benefits administration.
  • Support salary reviews and incentive schemes based on market and internal benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • >2 years of HR experience, ideally in an engineering, technical, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the recruitment of technical roles (engineers, project managers, etc.).
  • Experience working in ISO-certified or safety-regulated environments.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
