ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced by Service Operations
- When required, act as the customer SPOC and coordinate the scheduling of intervention with Customer's, internal resolver groups, and the Service Desk ensuring the highest level of customer services and communications are maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLA.
- Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups
- Ensure shortest restoral times possible, initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside SITA, according to the customer contracts, SLAs and monitoring requirements

- Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems
- Support the senior team members in the management, reporting, and coordination of day-day tasks during the absence of the Lead Engineer
- Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practices in order to deliver quality service and infrastructure operations
- Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and repairs in accordance with Service Operations and Delivery guidelines and instructions where provided
- Report and escalate to the next level those problems which cannot be fixed
- Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance of equipment and monitoring of systems and services in accordance with agreed schedules and customer expectations
- Perform Change Management, Configurations, Design and Implementation of the supported Product & Systems
- Manage local suppliers in the provision of services for the SITA Service Operations centres and report on services provided to management.
- Conducts the analysis, definition, documentation and testing of application & systems enhancements
- To provide onsite support to Users during the cutover of the services
- Continuously identify and document lessons learnt, known errors and operational knowledge for improved services
- When/where required, be contactable for escalations and support, on and on-call standby basis
- When/where required, perform assigned tasks on 12 x 7 shifts basis.
EXPERIENCE:
- Degree or equivalent Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years experience in the network, and/or application/system support domain.
- Must have dealt directly with external customers delivering to SLAs.
- Exposure to ITIL and IT/network components and principles
- Demonstrated maturity in handling complex customer issues and demanding customers

PURPOSE

Perform all Service Operations activities according to SITA standards and procedures, maximizing customer satisfaction through first-class support activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle complex incident management
Monitor and manage day-to-day service operations to ensure the smooth functioning of systems and processes
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage service requests, incidents, problems, and ensure adherence to SLAs
Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in service processes
Develop and maintain operational procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize service disruptions
Collaborate with technical teams to address product-related service issues and recommend improvements
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and work with problem management or expert service improvement on findings to implement solutions
Ensure documentation is up to date for all operational processes, incidents, and service management workflows

Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in application/system support, directly dealing with external customers delivering to SLAs.
Operating System: RHEL 7/8
Database: Oracle 19c, RAC, DB/HSM Vault, Data Masking, GoldenGate, Active Data Guard
2-3 years experience in ACM domain, if applicable
Airline experience and/or ATI know-how
Educational Background
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
Qualifications
Electronic Engineering or equivalent Telecommunications in-country degree qualification
Recognized industry certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, Oracle Certified Professional
ITIL v4 Foundation Certificate

The job holder shall:
- Function as a single point contact for 3D (E3D) Administration which includes data base set up and management, model management till hand over, Trouble shooting, Managing Hubs and Satellites, establish 3D model set up procedures and coordinating with all associated parties.
- Responsible for coordination with E3D admin of Client and Subcontractors of the project, assembling and integrating the overall global 3D model from the 3D models of various sub-contractors
- Administration of the E3D Model, customization to suit the project requirements and support to multi-discipline end users of the model.
- Coordinate and create project specific Catalogues and Specifications for piping & pipe supports, structural, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines in E3D and setting up of project specific drawing templates in the drafting module of E3D.
- Coordinate with the MMD team for import of piping specifications to E3D and trouble shoot.
- Make sure that the integrity of the 3D model database is well maintained and regular transfer of information from 3D model to other IT systems is functioning properly as expected.
- Based on the client specifications, develop project specific modelling procedures, guidelines, procedures for clash check, naming convention and model review and set up the 3D model accordingly. Conduct regular trainings to multi-discipline end users (designers) of the 3D model.
- Work closely with the discipline leads of the projects to understand their requirements and address their demand on time. Develop macros (in PML) to automate tasks, to improve the efficiency and avoid human errors.
- In case of any technical challenges, troubleshoot to resolve the issues on time and if required escalate to Superusers of E3D in other locations for quick resolution. Plan task maintenance of model and create backups as per company procedures.
- Setting up of project specific drawing templates in the drafting module of E3D.
- Responsible for Clash management and Clash Reports. Clean up and Preparation of the 3D model for all Model reviews.
- Be familiar with the workflows of all the IT systems implemented in the project once they have been set up. Be initiative-taking and provide your input to IT plan on time and highlight in advance if there are any technical challenges.
Work experience requirements:
- Must have minimum 15 years of E3D / PDMS Administrator experience in oil & gas projects especially in offshore projects (FPSOs and fixed installations) in the capacity of Admin with similar job responsibilities described above.
- Must be familiar with the workflow of FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of offshore projects.
- Strong background in Aveva's E3D software, thorough working knowledge in all the modules of E3D and experience in development and implementation of Cats and Specs of piping, pipe supports / MDS, structural and EIT is mandatory.
- Conversant with setup of Aveva Draw (2D), Isodraft and spooler administration
- Must be conversant with creations of Teams, Users, DB, MDB and global daemon setup
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree preferably in mechanical/Structural engineering or equivalent.
Other skills:
- Must have knowledge on MDS
- Must be conversant with clash management and its resolution
- Must have basic working knowledge of AVEVA Engineering and be conversant with Aveva Review / Navisworks for model review
- Have used PML and commonly used business software applications such MS Office.
- Ability to guide the team of designers for modelling related queries on day-to-day basis for project and troubleshoot
