Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our robotic cleaning software and of course the robots itself.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring thorough and efficient resolution.
• Develop and implement automated testing strategies and tools to optimise the testing process and enhance overall product quality.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to maintain the highest quality standards.
• Participate in product design reviews, providing feedback on potential risks, usability, and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience

• 0 - 2 years experience with hands on in both manual and automated testing
• Exceptional attention to detail, in identifying and documenting defects
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong experience in testing both web and mobile applications on multiple different platforms and devices.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript for automation frameworks and testing tools.
• Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium,
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured or similar.
• Experience working with test management tools like QASE, Jira or TestRail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) are desirable but not mandatory.

• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright) for SaaS-based applications, creating and executing automated test scripts while ensuring compatibility with platform updates
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, including end-to-end testing of integrations, validation across different Salesforce environments, and ensuring compliance with government security standards
• Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks, analyse metrics, and provide optimization recommendations while monitoring application behaviour under various load conditions

Roles and Responsibilities

a. Assist Product Owner, Business Analyst to craft out user story acceptance criteria

b. Analyse and decompose complicated software systems, and design a holistic test strategy

c. Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop test automation framework

d. Develop test suites of test scenarios and test cases

e. Take a risk-based approach for test automation

f. Perform time boxed exploratory testing

g. Maintain regression test suite in QA nightly build

h. Actively refine smoke test suite in Development CI environment

i. Lead system integration testing with other systems

j. Manage user acceptance testing

k. Manage defect life cycle, test artefacts and repository

l. Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices and tools

m. Take on secondary role as low code application developmentengineer (PEGA) or Application Security Engineer

n. Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing

o. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Knowledge and Skills

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of software testing and quality assurance engagements. • Lead the delivery of test automation and validation workstreams (unit, integration, end-to-end).
