About the role

As a Delivery Driver at Yuen Thong and Co Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers located in different parts of Singapore. This full-time position is based in Macpherson and involves using a company vehicle to transport and deliver goods.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating a delivery van/lorry/car to transport goods from our warehouse to customer locations
• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery vehicle to ensure the integrity of the products
• Providing excellent customer service by promptly delivering orders and interacting courteously with customers
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and communicating any issues or delays to the team
• Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies to minimise risks and incidents
• Assisting with other warehouse or logistics tasks as required

What we're looking for

• A valid driving licence and at least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver
• Strong map reading and navigation skills to efficiently plan and execute delivery routes
• Good physical fitness to handle the loading and unloading of goods
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with the Central Region area and its traffic conditions

SUMMARY:

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of Company's products, documents and items to the customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner. This exciting role combines efficient logistics with excellent customer service, allowing you to be the face of our Company while providing a seamless delivery experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and verify delivery documents and maintain accurate records

• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times

• Coordinate and execute delivery as well as orders to customers, suppliers and vendors

• Address any customer inquiries or issues related to logistics, providing solutions promptly

• Follow proper protocols for handling and transporting fragile materials

• Conduct regular checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are in good working condition

• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety standards and legal requirements

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the Company's vehicle

• Ensure safety of Company's vehicle, property, documents, and items

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience as a delivery driver is a plus

• Great time management and organization skills

• Valid professional driver's license for the required vehicle type

• Good driving and navigational skills with no prior violations

• Physical capability to handle and transport heavy cargo safely

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Flexible schedule to accommodate delivery and pickup demands, including evenings and weekends

• Maintain a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation

• Responsible for fueling Company's vehicle and ensuring maintenance and servicing are done

• Perform any other duties as assigned by Managing Director and Manager

• Deliver a wide variety of buffet menus and bento sets to various addresses within the designated delivery radius.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to food hygiene guidelines and safety standards during transportation and delivery.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in safe and roadworthy condition in compliance with all relevant safety requirements.
• Set up and decorate buffet tables at event locations as required.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Sanitize the vehicle regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
• Provide assistance at events when necessary, including setup and basic service support.
• Interact courteously and professionally with guests, clients, and colleagues at all times.

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence.
• Minimum 1–2 years of driving experience, preferably in food delivery or logistics.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and navigation applications.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading of catering equipment and food items.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and during peak hours when required.
• Positive work attitude and strong commitment to customer service.

We're looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our fruits & vegetables team If you enjoy being on the move, keeping active, and don't mind lifting boxes, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Morning: Help with packing customer orders
• Load orders into company van
• Collect fresh stock from suppliers
