• Provide full documentation support to the Vessel Operations Managers.
• Prepare and maintain records for:
  • Post Fixture Hire Statement (PFHS)
  • Emission Trading (EUA) reconciliation and submissions
  • Time Charter In (TCI) hire raising
  • Time Charter Out (TCO) PFHS entries
  • Claims documentation and record-keeping
• Assist in document verification such as:
  • LOI (Letters of Indemnity)
  • Charter Party (CP) checks
  • Off-hire summaries and cost logs
  • Hold cleaning bonus records
  • Charterers’ expense breakdown sheets
• Prepare internal reports and presentation materials (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Maintain data collection systems and assist in updating operational databases

Working Environment:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned vessels.
• Supervise and ensure safe and efficient execution of cargo loading and discharging activities.

• Coordinate with P&I Clubs to arrange pre-loading inspections for steel and other valuable cargoes.
• Work with charterers and management companies on vessel transits through high-risk areas, including deployment of armed security and insurance arrangements.

• We review and acknowledge claims and their supporting documents related to demurrage and other claims.
• Timely and accurate calculations for claims are performed.
• We process and follow through on claims submissions in a timely manner.

Applicant Pre-requisites:

• A diploma or undergraduate degree in Maritime is preferred.

• Master's F.G. Certificate of Competency is required.

The Technical Operations Manager will train and prepare competent technical superintendents to handle DF ships for technical management, as well as train and prepare competent superintendents for handling DF bunkering operations.

The successful candidate will manage long-term service agreements with manufacturers for maintenance of D/F Ships, keep the management updated on fleet performance, and comply with EPS Manual policies and international regulations.

The Technical Operations Manager will provide technical, people, and project management expertise and consultancy to vessel conversions and new buildings, manage changes, including delivery or takeover of new vessels, change of flag, transfer of class, implementation of new national or international rules or regulations, and take up energy efficiency and CO2 capture projects as identified by the Management.

• Ensure vessel seaworthiness and Regulatory Compliance at all times.
• Approve Class and Flag State Surveys to ensure all Certificates are valid.
• Monitor and plan Scheduled dry dockings, Class/flag certifications, Upgrade repairs/projects/workshop, Vessel's maintenance plans, Shipboard visits/audits, Supply of spares/stores and consumables.

Additionally, 20 years of relevant working experience in the marine industry or minimum of 10 years of sailing experience with at least 2 years' experience as Chief Engineer or a member of management team, or minimum 5 years working experience as a Superintendent, and minimum 5 Years of Tanker experience is mandatory for Tankers/LPG/Chemical Fleets.
