Position Summary

As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Security

  • Patrol all areas of the property to maintain safety and security.
  • Secure guest rooms and assist guests with room access.
  • Conduct daily hazard and safety inspections.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and control access to restricted areas.
  • Perform emergency drills and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Assist guests and employees during emergencies; provide first aid/CPR or contact EMS as required.
  • Investigate incidents, interview individuals, and complete accurate reports.
  • Defuse disturbances and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
  • Ensure compliance with laws (e.g., alcohol control regulations) and company security policies.

Guest & Employee Support

  • Handle guest interruptions, complaints, and safety concerns professionally.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company service standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in person, in writing, and over the phone.

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Support management in training, motivating, and coaching team members.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.

Compliance & Standards

  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and reporting procedures.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of all information.

Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

  • Navigate narrow, confined, elevated, or uneven spaces.

  • Well versed on the standard requirement procedures

  • Must be able to converse & understand English and Mandarin

  • To cover 50 stores within a calendar month

  • Shift work- Rotating shifts from 10am to 6pm and 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am (or timing as and when assigned), 6 days per week, inclusive of Sat, Sun and Public Holiday .

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing theft and fraud in the supermarket by monitoring store activity, conducting investigations, enforcing company policies, and ensuring the safety and security of customers and staff. This role requires attention to detail, strong observational skills, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.

This role is required to travel to the assigned stores (islandwide), follows a 5.5 work-week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect and deter theft, fraud, and other suspicious activity.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the store and distribution centres, including sales floors, stockrooms, and loading docks.
  • Apprehend individuals engaged in shoplifting or internal theft, following company protocols and legal guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain logs of security-related activity.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed.
