We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting tender teams with quantity measurement, BOQ preparation, contract and drawing review, and tender cost proposals.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering major projects and programmes with precision and skill.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management duties including: cost estimates, bills of quantities, value engineering, tendering and evaluation, contract knowledge, change orders, and final account close-out.

• Tendering and Procurement:
• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report, and compiling the contractual documents
• Vetting of Packages Bid Form. Bidders qualifications and bidders list proposal for each procurement package
• Cost Checking and Valuation:
• Making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place
• Works Measurement and Pricing:
• Perform measurement of works and developing Notes On Pricing
• Procurement Package Delivery:
• Providing regular reports on procurement progress and cost tracking
• Procurement package delivery status report
• Implementation Plan:
• Developing an implementation plan, including timing, resources, and program management necessary to achieve the identified savings per assigned work/project
• Negotiations and Decision Making:
• Advising on contingencies & projected cost escalation for labour + material

• Sourcing Events:

• Qualifications:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 - 6 years' experience in related fields, preferably as a MEP cost consultant

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade others
