Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical examinations on pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in children.

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding health status and treatment options.
- Provide counsel on preventive health measures and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in community health education programs and outreach initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine and technology.

- Participate in hospital committees and continuous professional development activities.
- MD in Pediatrics from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Maharashtra.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong background in childhood diseases and health issues.
- Experience in conducting and analyzing clinical research.
- Proficient in electronic medical records and healthcare software.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Commitment to continued education and professional development.
- Knowledge in pediatric emergency care is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with compassion and calmness.

Purpose
The Asia Financial Lines claims book has evolved significantly over the past five years, particularly with the growth of Medical Malpractice (Med Mal) and Professional Indemnity (PI) claims. The purpose of this role is to enhance efficiency in claims handling, improving speed, service, loss control, and cost management.
Job Description
The Asia Medical Malpractice & Professional Indemnity Claims Manager will provide dedicated technical support for PI and Med Mal claims in Asia and assist the Asia Financial Lines Manager to meet the needs of the Financial Lines Claims teams.

Additionally, the position will support the supervision of other Financial Lines claims in Asia as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to improve performance and customer satisfaction by driving efficiencies in Med Mal and PI claims resolution, ensuring quality service in line with Chubb claims philosophy.
- Manage and supervise Med Mal and PI claims underwritten and reported in APAC, adhering to policy terms, company guidelines, and local procedures.
- Ensure Large Losses are properly resourced and escalated as appropriate.
- Work with Country claims managers to identify and implement improvements, including digital claims solutions.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, brokers, and service providers.
- Coordinate with internal teams on accounts, product development, and loss control.
- Notify underwriters of claims issues or trends impacting underwriting decisions.
- Manage claims to finality within authority and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate reserves and update claims data timely and correctly.
- Document claims processes and controls across the region.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in handling/supervising PI and Med Mal claims, preferably across Asia.
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop strategies to improve claims outcomes.
- Interest in technological trends like AI.
- Strong analytical, relationship management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Law Degree or equivalent qualification.
