This position involves contributing to the firm by developing analysis and conveying insights to enhance clients' decision making. You will play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesising conclusions into recommendations.
You will combine technical strength with a strong track record of leadership and performance in team-oriented environments.

The position suits a recent STEM graduate of a bachelor's or master's programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision making
- Work closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model results
- Contribute to our product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements
- Communicate findings to clients
First-class or high second-class degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance).
An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information.
Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments.
An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin or Korean is required to be able to collect data and information from key ASEAN countries - Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea.

They will work closely with internal stakeholders to progress projects and participate and negotiate in the development of new business opportunities, including the development of non-disclosure agreements, MoUs, Heads of Agreement, Supply or Offtake Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and other relevant financial indicators.
The requirements for this role include a Bachelor's Degree (Major in science, engineering, marketing or international trade, Economics or business administration) and at least 5 years' of relevant experience in the hydrocarbons industry. They must also have understanding of hydrocarbon downstream value-chain, hydrocarbons customer requirements, competitor positioning, regulatory constraints, international trading patterns, trading strategies, and excellent communication skills.
Other key qualities required include project management experience, good understanding of the Industry in Asia - supply/demand fundamentals of physical market, product grades and quality specifications, transportation and pipeline infrastructure and products carried, competitors, and marine operations. Proficiencies in one of the ASEAN languages besides English is a plus.

- Take responsibility for any and every matter relating to your portfolio of customers.

- Strong technical skills including credit and financial analysis, cashflow forecasting, financial modeling, due diligence, risk assessment of customers and projects, negotiating financing and ISDA agreements.
