This position plays a critical role in project delivery, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislative safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements in Singapore, including any new acts and regulations that may be gazetted, amended, or re-enacted during the contract period.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) system, including the formation of SHE committees, site inspections, and site safety management.
- Implement and manage the electronic Permit to Work (ePTW) system as required by our clients.
- Develop and implement a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) program for new workers, including identification systems for qualified personnel and operators.
- Attend SHE coordination meetings, plan work sequences, identify incompatible works and risks/hazards, and develop site maps for delivery and storage improvements.
- Handle near-miss, accident, and incident reporting, and propose remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage the Project Safety, Health, and Environment System (SHES). Responsible for preparing the monthly SHE report. Experience with ZAP 2.0 system is considered an added advantage.
