Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer you will:

• You'll be responsible for cross-platform test planning and execution within the team
• You will participate in the drafting of test plan, test specification, acceptance criteria based on functional specification or user stories.
• You will be responsible for the updating of requirement traceability matrix.
• Working closely to the team to understand requirements
• Report the test results to the engineering team and creating tickets for product enhancement
• Reproducing bug reports and prioritising
• Assisting on generating automated test scripts
• Helping to set up and enhance the processes aligning them with the rest of the business
• Build communication within the technical and other departments
• Create, maintain, manage and enforce test plan

Skills & Requirements

• Have experience in automation testing
• Have experience in mobile app testing
• Have experience in testing APIs
• Have experience in JIRA and Jenkins
• 1-2 years of experience in creating Test Automation framework for mobile apps (iOS & Android)
• You are a tester at heart who is passionate about all forms of testing (white box, black box, functional, regression, non-functional)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organization
• Have driving experience and familiar with motorists and maps application will be an advantage
• Able to conduct testing in non-office environment e.g. on the road testing
• Able to provide feedback from UX perspective

About the Job

A Director of Test Automation leads the strategy, development, and execution of automated testing initiatives within an organization. They are responsible for ensuring software quality, efficiency, and speed through the implementation and management of robust automation frameworks and processes. This role will report to CTO of Bitdeer.

What you will be responsible for:

1. Strategic Leadership & Vision:
   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with the organization's overall quality assurance goals.
   2. Define and maintain the test automation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and technical feasibility.
   3. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
2. Team Management & Development:
   1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
   2. Define team goals, track performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
   3. Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent in test automation.
3. Automation Framework Development & Maintenance:
   1. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
