Overview
The Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager is a critical, hands-on role responsible for the end-to-end management of GVig's inventory flow. This individual will be the analytical engine of our operations, responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts and then managing the entire supply chain-including inventory, procurement, and logistics-to meet that demand. The ideal candidate is a data-driven professional with a strong background in both forecasting and operational execution, capable of ensuring our products are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity to support our global distributor network.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting:
  1. Develop Forecasts: Create and maintain accurate, SKU-level demand forecasts for all brands using statistical modeling, historical sales data, and market intelligence.
  2. Lead Demand Review: Lead the monthly Demand Review process as part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, collaborating closely with the Commercial (Sales & Brand) teams to incorporate their inputs on promotions, new product launches, and market trends.
  3. Analyze Performance: Track and analyze forecast accuracy KPIs. Conduct root cause analysis on significant variances and implement corrective actions to improve future forecasts.
  4. New Product Forecasting: Work with the Brand and Innovation teams to develop initial forecasts for new product launches.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
  1. Inventory Strategy: Translate the demand plan into a clear inventory strategy. Set and manage target stock levels (including safety stock) for both finished goods and raw materials to optimize availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  2. Supply Planning: Work directly with the production team to align the production schedule with the demand plan.
  3. Procurement: Oversee the procurement of raw materials and packaging components based on the production plan, ensuring timely delivery from suppliers.
  4. Logistics & Warehouse Oversight: Manage the relationship with our logistics partners and oversee warehouse operations. Ensure efficient receipt of goods, proper storage, and timely dispatch of orders to our international distributors.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in the planning and supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain role, with at least 3 years focused specifically on demand planning or forecasting.

• Experience in the consumer goods (FMCG), beauty/skincare, or a related industry.

• Hands-on experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience participating in or leading a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities**
+ Partnership across the business to achieve Singapore business objectives
+ Partner closely with the business to ensure commercial business outcomes are supported by effective Supply Strategy.
+ Responsible for compliant operations, ensuring Singapore regulations and requirements are incorporated into regional process.
+ Supply and Demand Planning
+ Responsible for supply security, risk assessment and mitigation planning.
+ Responsible for S&OP /IBP for full Singapore portfolio.
+ Strong partnership with Commercial and Finance, to gather information and insights to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts. Use Anaplan for integrated demand planning.
+ Conduct supply planning in global RapidResponse system.
+ Understand and balance enterprise requirements across the value chain to support continuous supply with optimized inventory levels and costs.
+ Customer Service and Wholesaler engagement
+ Collaborate with the Wholesaler to ensure that supply replenishment is managed in accordance with the Distribution Agreement.
+ Responsible for fulfilment process of Wholesaler's Purchase Orders. This includes creation of Sales Orders in SAP and liaison with the GSH-JAPAC, supply Site or planned Regional Distribution Hub.
+ Launch and Lifecycle Management
+ Develop strategy and implementation plan of product launches and lifecycle changes together with internal (Regional/Country Operations Lead, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Marketing, Value Access & Policy) and external (Wholesaler) parties. Ensure supply plan is aligned with the variation changes. Risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated to achieve supply continuity.
+ Logistics - Partner with, and provide advice to Global Supply Hub (GSH-JAPAC) to:
+ ensure logistics, warehousing and distribution activities are compliant to GDP and other relevant standards.
+ ensure trade compliance (e.g. Import License, Declarations, Reporting requirements, etc.) of imports and delivery to the Singapore Wholesaler.
+ Continuous Improvement and Digital Excellence
+ Proactively identify Operational Excellence opportunities to drive productivity and enable flawless execution of supply chain activities.
+ Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures or other form of work instructions.
+ Innovative growth mind-set to use, learn and mature digital tools to enhance productivity.
+ KPI/Reporting
+ Ensure performance management is timely, accurate and provides meaningful insights to collaborators.
+ Responsible for KPI generation according to Distribution Agreement with Wholesaler.
+ Responsible for reporting and KPIs for internal collaborators.
+ Other activities as required

**Discover Impactful Work:**
The Manager, Supply Chain leads important supply chain metrics for Singapore's multi-division and multiple products' operations at our Marsiling site. You are a team leader and will drive global and local initiatives which positively impact capacity, cost, inventory and service for your businesses. You will ensure the accuracy of our site's capacity/ supply planning and detailed production scheduling regular activities while optimizing utilization and productivity.
**A day in the Life:**
+ Operates an accurate capacity plan and master production schedule (MPS) for the entire site (equipment, space, resources & suppliers). Identify and implement tactical and strategics activities to improve utilization or remove bottlenecks maximise our company's regular business processes (monthly, annual and long term). You will also supervise and make vital adjustments to the weekly/ daily production schedule of different work centers.
+ Lead all supply activities for selected Singapore's manufactured products as part of our global Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning/ Execution processes for Marsiling Singapore site and regional distribution network. Collaborates closely with cross functions to propose different demand-supply scenarios and to drive decisions to enable favorable business outcomes.
+ Partner well with procurement and sourcing teams. Implement more efficient supply networks, ordering policies and planning parameters which will reduce overall cycle time and inventory cost. You will also handle the changes (including master data) linked to product life cycle, parts engineering & all types of planned + unplanned deviations.
+ Responsible for all inventory management and control activities for both site and distribution network. Actively improves our Day of Supply performance and reduces our Excess and Obsolescence ($) while ensuring efficient, timely and highest quality manufacturing and distribution operations of your products.
+ Apply Practical Process Improvement approach in every way we work. Develop and implement an automated solution for capacity planning and detailed scheduling for all divisions and products in our site. Proactively identify and translate industry practices in supply chain to our site.
**Keys to Success:**
A supply chain experienced professional with a proven track record and growth mindset. Keen to drive predictive, proactive and resilient supply chain processes.
**Education**
+ Minimum of Bachelor's Degree required in related field; strong preference for fields of study in the supply chain and operations. MBA will be plus.
**Experience**
+ Minimum of 10+ years direct experience in end to end supply chain value stream.
+ Experience in Continuous Improvement methodology (LEAN, Six Sigma) & possesses a Practical Process Improvement mentality.
+ APICS CPIM certification and possessing full spectrum knowledge from Quote to Order to Cash platforms knowledge would be an asset.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate Product Portfolios: Efficiently oversee diverse product portfolios through a structured, end-to-end planning process, ensuring seamless and optimized operations.
+ Develop Demand Forecasts: Build weekly and monthly demand forecasts in collaboration with Supply Planning, Product Management, and Commercial teams. Understand and determine forward-looking local demand requirements to support market needs.
+ Examine past demand trends. Gather input from Product Management, Marketing, and Sales. Forecast demand for Made-to-Stock and new products.
+ Integrate Inputs: Translate inputs from Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Business Operations into future demand and integrate these into the monthly inventory plan.
+ Prepare Data for Review: Prepare all necessary data and metrics for review. Identify gaps and scenarios, guide final decision-making processes, and address any blocking issues for management review.
+ Facilitate Reviews: Plan and facilitate regular reviews with internal customers to ensure alignment and successful implementation of demand plans.
**Inventory Management**
+ Manage Inventory Levels: Improve inventory management by maintaining desired levels for Inventory, Days of Supply (DOS), Excess and Obsolete (E&O), and Fill Rates
+ Prevent & Manage D&E Stock: Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to prevent and manage dead and excess stock, ensuring efficient inventory health.
+ Collaborate with Supply Planning: Work closely with Supply Planning to manage inventory, E&O, DOH (Days on Hand), and improve forecast accuracy.
**Improvement Projects**
+ Define & Implement Projects: Identify root causes of issues and drive corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams to enhance order fulfillment and inventory control.
+ Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement projects that focus on achieving flawless operational processes and world-class demand planning.
**System Familiarity**
+ Apply ERP Systems: Use the local ERP system to drive the planning process, ensuring all planning parameters are maintained robustly.
+ Update Data Regularly: Regularly update master and transactional data to support accurate demand forecasting and inventory settings.
