- Supports Learning & Development (L&D) administration in the company
Learning & Development Administration
- Support and administer purposeful learning programmes to enhance employees' L&D experience and close L&D gaps. (e.g. Plan and executive Training Learning Plan for the company, which in turn should drive business productivity and improve employee retention).
- Monitor learning progress of all employees (e.g. oversee learning requests for staff and training registrations for workers; manage training records in Learning Management System)
- Manages regulatory training for staff and workers before expiration
- Process invoices and billings for training and relevant training claims
- Organize and promote internal trainings and employee engagement activities
- Work with Group L&D function (Sembcorp Academy) and external vendors to improve L&D experience for the company
- Assist in reviewing and communicating L&D related policies
- Support sponsorship programmes.
- Facilitate staff orientation and induction on their first day including briefings for new hires
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in the HR function.
- Nitec / Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in HR or related disciplines will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in HR administration, preferably within the construction industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS word, Excel and Power Point
- Good knowledge of employment laws & practices
- Basic data management and analysis skill is preferred
- Basic/Intermediate Excel Skills, 1 year data entry experience
- HR Knowledge and Compliance: Understand HR policies, MOM guidelines, work pass process, and employee benefits, particularly for foreign workers.
- Attention to Detail: Managing documentation and HRIS data, ensuring compliance with legal requirements with accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication to effectively interact with stakeholders, with the ability to resolve pressing issues promptly.
- Organizational Skills: Good time management, organized, able to prioritize and multitask under tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify HR process issues, providing practical solutions, with strong decision-making skills.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive employee information with high ethical standards.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Effective team player with a collaborative approach, supporting colleagues and adapting to new HR systems as required.
