- As a team lead, you will oversee a team of quantitative professionals, driving research and analysis on a diverse range of external fund managers and investment strategies in delivering high-impact insights and tools that strengthen and inform the investment decision-making process.
- To develop the team’s expertise in leveraging data, quantitative techniques, and AI/ML methodologies to deliver comprehensive, data-driven insights and evidence-based recommendations.
- To enhance and innovate across various stages of the investment process by applying quantitative and AI/ML tools, thereby expanding our capabilities in scale, depth, and performance. Additionally, you will contribute to the broader organization by sharing analytical tools and data-driven insights, fostering collective domain expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to department and investment leaders, leveraging data, quantitative techniques, and AI/ML methods to enhance investment processes, shape the department’s analytical capabilities, and conduct research focused on capital allocations, portfolio construction, optimization, and risk management.
- Lead and manage quantitative research and analysis across the entire investment process, from manager screening and selection to strategy due diligence and portfolio construction, ensuring high research quality and timely delivery.
- Oversee and govern the implementation of models, analysis, and tools to ensure alignment with best practices and team-wide infrastructure, while managing the team's model and analytics operations.
- Facilitate the sharing and cross-pollination of quantitative applications, analysis, and tools across departments, while providing macro-level insights to the team.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in quantitative research and analysis, with a strong emphasis on applying quantitative methods and AI/ML techniques in capital allocation, portfolio construction, optimization, and sk management.
- • Experience in a fund allocator environment is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of macroeconomic trends, credit and equity investing, and capital markets, complemented by exceptional communication skills to effectively understand, influence, and secure buy-in from stakeholders.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python, along with SQL.

Serve as the liaison for clients regarding inquiries and provides team support
Analyze and monitor client portfolios, and assist with other aspects of managing a client relationship

Assist the teams with execution of trades (primarily in FX and Cash deposits)
Handle cash management, foreign exchange transactions, currency hedging and money markets trades
Assist teams in subscribing hedge funds, private equity funds and GSAM funds
Assist on projects related to platform development and other infrastructure issues
Handle margin related requests and queries; liaise with various operations and technology teams for day to day support
Partner with operations on all account opening / maintenance matters, including various remediation efforts.

This will involve working with the broader PWM Team in servicing our private wealth clients in the region as well as helping to grow the overall business in PWM Asia.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Coverage of Asia markets
Execution of stock & listed option orders for clients
Develop an understanding of market dynamics in stock & listed option execution (types of orders, etc.)
Assist in supporting other product execution, including FX, Commodities & fixed income products
Active engagement with clients: provide and pitch stock & derivative trading ideas to clients
Facilitate pricing and execution of OTC derivative trades
Work with in-house structurers/traders and external product providers on equity derivatives idea-generation, pricing and execution
Play a key role in growing sales trading revenues for active clients
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
Experience in trading stocks & listed options (experience in different asset classes is a plus)
2-4 years relevant experience
Ability to work and focus in a high paced environment in intense market volatility
Good communication skills (fluent in English, Mandarin)
Quick-minded and detail-oriented
Customer-orientated
A good team player, able to manage cross-functional teams
Bachelor degree or above
Suitable backgrounds include professionals who have experience in executing stock & listed option orders in a brokerage or financial institution

Responsibilities
Providing financial advice and services to individual and corporate clients for wealth protection, growth, and transfer in areas such as life insurance, investments, employee benefits, general insurance, risk management, mortgage and tax optimization, retirement planning, estate planning, wills and trusts, and legacy planning.
Requirements
- A Levels, Full Diploma (3 years) or Degree holder.
- Early career, Fresh grads or Undergraduate students.
- No prior sales or financial experience needed, full training is provided.
- Motivated, results-driven, hardworking, able to work independently, meticulous, and coachable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build client relationships with a positive and engaging personality.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
