Key Responsibilities
You will be a member of the Claim Assessors within the Life Claims team (a part of the Operations department) responsible for:
- Ensuring policy benefits are adjudicated according to contract provision wordings and within the claim authority limit
- Computing the amount of benefit payable and ensuring claim requests are attended to within the agreed turnaround time
- Continuously exploring ways to improve productivity and customer service through process automation and work with transformation squads to provide business requirements
- Providing claims statistics and reports timely as required
- Complying with regulatory and risk management controls, corporate policies, procedure and claims guidelines
- Conducting claims technical workshops for financial advisers or internal teams
- Managing external parties as part of claims process such as reinsurers, medical providers, law firms, auditors, regulatory bodies, financial advisers
- Supporting any day-to-day administrative tasks as required
Requirements
Education
- Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance or Digital Science
- Professional Certification(s): SCI Certification(s), LOMA or equivalent (preferred)
Experience
- Open to Fresh Graduate or candidates with investigation experience
- Any experience in of the following will be an added advantage:
- Implementation of any process automation solution(s)
- Practitioner as medical or healthcare professional
- Loss adjustor or private investigator role
