Core Responsibilities:

• Scoping and collating literature reviews
• Collecting, cleaning, formatting, and analysing primary/secondary data using statistical software (SPSS / R)
• Managing and running research-driven programming and event
• Preparing documentation for research ethics board review
• Preparing interview/focus group questionnaires
• Assisting in the design of survey instruments and experiments, including sampling strategies, questionnaire development, and data-collection protocols
• Managing some aspects of fieldwork administration including field interviewer briefings, project progress monitoring, and data quality controls, in partnership with a dedicated fieldwork operations team
• Engaging and managing stakeholders across workstream
• Attending project meetings, briefings, and subject-matter-expertise seminars as necessary
• Summarising project results and preparing progress reports for the PI and funding agencies
• Writing papers, articles, reports, chapters, and preparing presentations for internal, stakeholder, and public consumption
• Presenting findings or analyses for internal, stakeholder, and public consumption as necessary

Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

• Assisting with events and outreach associated with research workstreams, such as rapporteuring, planning, and hosting conferences and workshops
• Other administrative tasks as assigned

• Possesses a strong academic background, including a Bachelor's degree in a social sciences discipline from a reputable university
• Have strong grounding in quantitative methods and proven ability to handle and analyse large datasets
• Be familiar with statistical and programming software (especially SPSS, Qualtrics, and/or R) and data analysis
• Possess strong English language communication skills, with an ability to write in a clear, engaging, coherent, and expedited fashion
• Exhibit keen interest in research pertaining to social issues, sentiments, and policies
• Possess experience in conducting survey fieldwork or other forms of research data collection
• Demonstrate strong commitment to meeting deadlines and have a track record of producing work that reflects a maturity of thought

The team's purpose is to handle crisis situations that require cross-functional coordination, and communication to leadership, in order to mitigate serious risks to the company or the community. The role of SR Policy is to help leadership make enforcement decisions in the most critical cases when operating under significant time sensitive environment and stakeholder scrutiny. To do that we operate a global 24/7 on-call shift system, with responsiveness and accuracy of authoring communications being of paramount importance. You will need to be personally resilient, flexible and able to multi-task, enjoy quick turnaround work and be prepared to work on thematic issues that some may find emotive. To do this effectively, you are likely someone who can think strategically about risk, whilst also being able to probe into the detail of fast-moving situations. Responsibilities
Support the Head of SEA Public Policy in developing and implementing the team's long‐term and short‐term strategy based on emerging issues, market trends, and business needs.
Assist the Chief of Staff in key PMO activities and processes, including team operations, reporting and business cadence, project planning, prioritisation, initiation, and execution.
Manage the day‐to‐day operations of the SEA Public Policy team, in close coordination with regional and local leaders to ensure smooth functioning.
Coordinate with cross‐functional teams to ensure alignment on initiatives, building key strategic relationships internally to remove roadblocks, fill gaps, and streamline projects.
Provide strategic input to the Head of SEA Public Policy on key areas of work, internally and externally, determining priority of matters and directing them appropriately.
Aid the Head of SEA Public Policy with preparing briefing materials, presentations, and other documents for high‐level meetings and communications.
Monitor and analyse relevant policy developments externally and progress of internal projects, creating updates, briefs, and insight notes.
Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in project management, business operations or business strategy roles.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and work effectively within and across teams.

Preferred Qualifications
