- Checking on Rio Panel (panel design, internal wiring, panel cable entry, surge arrestor, signal isolator, signal barrier, PLC, Rio panel schedule)
- P&ID understanding in cable installation, instrument location/routine, cable schedule, cable termination drawings and calculation
- Work out panel design (with Fibre optic interface panel (Fibre optic panel), Field fibre optic termination panel (Fibre optic panel) and General arrangement (panel design), UPS Distribution Box, Junction box)
- Present and to design the cable routine
- Present and to design the ICA Cabling – instrumentation cable & Communication cable
- Present and to design the UPS cabling from main UPSDB and Field UPSDB
- Perform the process function of Plant Automation Network (PAN) and Plant Subring Network (PAN Subring) Centrifuge
- Perform the non-process function of Power Monitoring System (PMS) Network and FFOTP Network.
- Perform Electrical Signal list Hardwire signal list, Power Monitoring System (PMS) drawings, Local Control Station (LCS)
- Perform Site work for Cable tray sizing, Cable duct issues – GWRF area, Cable Support System Beneath Raised Floor
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Preferably Executives specializing in Engineering - Electrical, Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
- Understand for MCC, MDB, LVSG, HVSG, Transformer
- Basic knowledge on Bentley Software – 3D modelling
- Motivated, team oriented, communicative and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work at Tuas area (Transportation provided at specific location)
- 5.5 days work

Scope of Work

Element has an opportunity for an
Instrumentation Engineer
to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
This role is based in Singapore.
Job Duties:
Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory
Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable
Be expected to obtain guidance in non-routine situation testing
Have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities
Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
Provide Input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers
Be confident in making both formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders
Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory
Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data
Utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis
Be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusions
Job Requirements:
Possess a Degree in Geotechnical Engineering with 3 years of working experience
Working knowledge of laboratory safety
Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline
Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business
In-depth understanding of testing concepts
Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed
Possess strong computer skills

We are currently looking to expand our team of committed Senior Instrumentation Engineers who will be responsible for ensuring our instruments are prepared, installed, and commissioned to the best level of quality required for a successful monitoring scheme.
Scope of Work
Site work will involve installing structural, ground, and environmental monitoring systems in accordance with construction drawings and design specifications. Installation, programming and commissioning data loggers and telemetry devices; maintaining installation records and promoting a safe workplace with zero harm.
Office & Site based work will involve following roles and responsibilities
· Able to coordinate and lead a team of instrumentation engineers and other technical officers to manage geotechnical instrumentation works such as instrument installation and monitoring works.
· Oversee all instrumentation works including the production of method statements, project quality plan, calibration, installation, data acquisition, data verification, data processing, web database, data presentation and reporting. He shall ensure that all monitoring data are correct.
· Shall be responsible for preparing all necessary reports as specified in the Contracts documents.
· Design, set up and maintenance of Instrumentation database
· Ensuring works are in accordance with approved project quality plan
- Providing input into health, safety, environmental and quality documentation
- Preparing instruments, materials and tools for site work
- Installation of Structural, Ground, and Environmental Monitoring Systems
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and asset owners
- Provide installation, monitoring and maintenance services
- Maintain installation records, data processing, create factual reports
- Work as part of a team to plan and meet workload demands.
- Business operations – as part of a growing business you will be involved in all aspects of operations.
- Follow business processes to ensure consistent high-quality results.
Desirable/ Advantageous
- Hands on experience with geotechnical instrumentation

Requirements
· Relevant Degree in Engineering
· Min. 6 years and above hands-on experience in managing instrumentation and monitoring works on a civil engineering project with I&M companies out of which at least 5 years of experience on LTA underground construction projects in Singapore
· Willing to work and travel among various sites
· Class 3 driving licence
· Registered Earthworks supervisor certificate
· Construction Safety course for Project Managers
· Experience in instrumentation database
