What the role is:
The Licensing Team of the Licensing, Research and Charities branch oversees the operationalisation of the Healthcare Services Act and related regulations for healthcare services licensees. You will lead a team of officers in managing enquiries and feedback on the licensing process. - Legal – Assess and apply appropriate legal sources and procedures to simple legal matters, refer complex issues to relevant departments, interpret legal documents using proper legal terminology, and stay updated on legal changes affecting the organisation.
- Programme & Project Management – Oversee project implementation to ensure timely and effective delivery, manage stakeholder relationships, handle complex projects, resolve conflicts, and address project crises effectively.
- Service Delivery – Manage stakeholder interactions, address escalations, gather feedback, and identify gaps in service delivery.
- Public Communications – Develop and execute engagement strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on the operationalisation of relevant regulations.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary education in Communications, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health, or related fields (preferred).
- At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Supervisory experience (preferred).
- Proactive, independent, and able to lead a team.
- Strong policy and report writing skills.
- Good planning and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet.
