Job Description:

• Clinic Assistant / Patient Service Associate - Surgical Specialist Clinic

We are looking for a team player with a passion in healthcare to provide a quality patient experience with our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent front-line customer service to our patients and meticulous administrative support in our surgical specialist clinics.
• Provide assistance to doctors and patients in the clinic and consultation rooms (e.g. chaperone during consultation, organize and provide instructions to patients for investigations or procedures).
• Responsible for registration, payment collection, appointment scheduling, financial counselling on procedures and services, trigger/process insurance claims, booking keeping of clinic accounts as well as other administrative duties.

Requirements:

• A customer-oriented team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong passion to serve in healthcare.
• Polytechnic Diploma, GCE 'A' / 'O' or Higher.
• Possess good computer skills, good customer service skills and good telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Relevant work experience in healthcare, hospitality, insurance or service industries will be advantageous.

We are seeking a skilled Temporary TSSU Technician for a 3-month contract opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments, packing and preparing sterilized instrument sets, and handling and transporting instrument trays.

• Support in the cleaning and decontamination of surgical equipment
• Pack and prepare sterilized instrument sets for use
• Handle and transport instrument trays safely (up to 11–12kg)

• Comfortable working in environments involving surgical equipment and exposure to blood
• Must adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hygiene standards, including full scrub attire

You will be responsible for day-to-day provision of clinical services to the BridgePoint Health group of clinics. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides healthcare services through our primary healthcare facilities.

The Role

1. Provide medical consultation and services to patients.

2. Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations as necessary.

3. Manage acute and chronic conditions related to the practice of Family Medicine

4. Perform minor office procedures, including but not limited to (T&S, I&D, FB removal, Excision)

5. Can opt to partake in other special projects including but not limited to onsite health screening, health talks, occupational health.

The Person

1. Bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery (MBBS or MD)

2. Valid Practicing Certificate with SMC

3. Post graduate degree in Family Medicine (GDFM, MMed)

4. Other post graduate degrees can be considered (GDOM, MMED (Internal Medicine), GDGM)

5. Can-do attitude with strong team spirit
