We are seeking a skilled Safety Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating risk management implementation and facilitating hazard identification and risk assessments.
- This role involves leading the Risk Management team and coordinating with Quality, Planning and Design (QPD) teams to prepare documentation for civil design safety and submission to the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or a relevant field and hold a Design for Safety Professional (DFSP) certification. A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil/infrastructure/construction work is required.
The Safety Management Specialist will also be responsible for preparing and delivering method statements and risk assessments for projects, as well as maintaining risk registers and liaising with external Risk Management Facilitators (RMFs) on hazard management.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with various government authorities and external agencies to obtain necessary approvals;
- Maintain risk registers;
- Facilitate hazard identification and risk assessments for preparation of safety submissions;
- Prepare and deliver all necessary method statements and risk assessments for projects;
- Coordinate with QPD and Internal Design teams to prepare documentation for civil design safety and CNSS submission to LTA;
- Lead Risk Management team and coordinated Risk Management implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field;
- Design for Safety Professional (DFSP) certification;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil/infrastructure/construction work;
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
