Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with external parties for maintenance of shelter premises (e.g., HDB, Town Council, grass cutting, pest control, cleaning services, movers, CCTV, IT services, etc.).
- Assist in admitting and orienting new shelter residents.
- Develop and implement processes to improve incident management within the shelter environment, including training staff on handling incidents.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of workplace safety and health by liaising with external parties during emergencies and taking immediate action upon discovering illegal activities.
- Respond to incidents within shelter units, de-escalate crisis situations, and notify the Management/Funder agency (MSF/SCORE) for further action within 24 hours.
- Enforce shelter rules and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with shelter regulations, particularly regarding substance use.
Administration:
- Collect shelter fees by the first week of each month.
- Maintain records of distributed rations and assistance to shelter residents, as well as inventory of in-kind donations.
- Implement an information/data management system to collect and maintain client and operational data.
Accountability:
- Reports directly to the Senior Client Engagement Executive/Team Lead.
Competency Requirements:
