Job Description

Salary : $2,600 – $,400/month
Location : Northeast Region (Centre-based)

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated and capable educators to join our student care and enrichment centre. As an Academic Support Teacher, you will support Primary 1 to 5 students with their academic work and deliver structured enrichment lessons. You’ll help students strengthen their understanding and build confidence across key primary-level subjects.

This is a full-time, centre-based role suited for educators who thrive in structured environments and can work confidently with both children and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and support students in MOE subjects — up to Primary 5 (no P6 syllabus involved).
  • Support students in at least two MOE-aligned core subjects: English, Math, Science, or Chinese
  • Deliver in-house enrichment programmes based on established curriculum
  • Track and document student progress and individual learning needs
  • Prepare teaching materials and manage classroom setup
  • Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
  • Ensure safe transfer of students from school to the centre daily
  • Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring primary-level students
  • Comfortable providing academic support in at least two core subjects (English, Math, Science, or Chinese) at the primary school level
  • Diploma or higher in a relevant field is required
Applicants with recognised local qualifications in Education or Teaching will be strongly considered
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Also suitable for fresh graduates or early-career educators (with interest in academic support and student care).
Work Schedule

This role follows a predictable, structured rhythm — 5.5 days per week (Monday to Saturday mid-day), including fixed Saturday mornings from 8:30am–12:30pm .
There are no rotating shifts, split days, or unexpected weekend duties. This schedule allows for consistent planning and reliable team coverage.

What We Offer
  • Starting monthly salary from $2,600 ( p to 3,400 based on experience and subject pairing)
  • Performance bonus and annual increment
  • Paid medical and parental leave
  • Structured training and mentorship programme
  • Opportunities for career growth and progression
  • Supportive team culture and clear classroom systems
  • Predictable, fixed weekly schedule (5.5 days/week) with non-rotational Saturdays

We know the right educator values stability, structure, and purpose. If you're looking for a long-term teaching role in a warm, consistent environment — we'd love to meet you.

How to Apply

This is a permanent, full-time position directly hired by the employer — you will be joining the student care and enrichment centre’s in-house team.

First Konnection is supporting the recruitment process on behalf of the centre. There are no agency fees, no salary deductions, and no third-party involvement in your employment.

If you’re ready to grow in a structured academic setting and support primary-level students meaningfully, we welcome your application.
