We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Learner (ELL) instructor to join our educational team. As an ELL instructor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with English language needs, enabling them to access the curriculum independently and successfully.

You will be responsible for developing and executing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of ELL students. This includes creating engaging activities, exercises, and assessments to promote language acquisition and ensure successful progression.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to co-plan, co-teach, and co-assess student performance. Effective communication, respect, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this collaborative environment.
You will collect and analyze data on student progress, using this information to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions to support student learning.
As an ELL instructor, you will also involve parents and the broader community in the assessment process, fostering a sense of ownership and partnership in student education.
- Education and Qualifications
- Experience and Skills
A minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent is required, along with additional qualifications or endorsements for working with English Language Learners. A Master's degree in Education is preferred, as is WIDA and SIOP training.
Candidates should have a minimum of 12 years of experience working with children as an EAL teacher, demonstrating expertise in teaching strategies, instructional design, and cultural competency.
