Job Overview
We are now seeking an experienced Director, Supply Chain & Logistics to lead Markono Logistics Pte Ltd — overseeing our logistics, warehousing and fulfilment functions, and driving our ongoing transformation towards a technology-enabled, customer-centric supply chain.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader with extensive experience in warehouse management, logistics operations, and business improvement - ideally gained in a large manufacturing or 3PL environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping Markono's Logistics' strategy and ensuring that our operations remain competitive and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Departmental Leadership
- Overseeing Markono Logistics, setting departmental goals, objectives, and resourcing plan
- Develop and implement strategic logistics initiatives aligned with Markono Group's business objectives
- Lead the planning and execution of logistics strategies for new account setups - developing operational flows, coordinating with Sales, Business Development, and IT for required system integrations or enhancements
- Manage P&L performance, ensuring margins and expenses align with revenue goals in the financial plan
- Participate in contract negotiations for logistics operations and service rates, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and cost-effectiveness
Operational Excellence
- Drive effective warehouse management processes and systems by establishing new operating standards and ensuring compliance
- Oversee all aspects of warehousing, fulfilment, and transportation services, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness from service providers
- Investigate and resolve warehousing-related issues, identify root causes of inventory discrepancies, and implement process improvements
- Authorise and maintain Quality/Operations Procedures, Work Instructions (WIs), and relevant records to uphold system integrity and audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant management systems, including Quality Management System, FSC CoC Management System, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Drive operational transformation through automation, digitalisation, and process innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance data visibility, system integration, and throughput performance
- Continuously review and optimise logistics workflows to improve productivity, service quality, and customer experience
Customer & Business Development
- Leverage knowledge of customers' businesses to identify new business development opportunities for Markono Logistics
- Participate in customer meetings and regular business reviews to share performance updates, productivity insights, and improvement plans
People Leadership & Development
- Build and lead a high-performing logistics team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline
- Identify individual and team skill gaps, and implement training and development programmes to strengthen capability

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale logistics or warehousing operations
- Proven experience in manufacturing or 3PL environments.
- Demonstrated ability to implement warehouse management systems (WMS), automation, or digital transformation projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification a plus)
- Experience in strategic planning, P&L management, and business performance optimisation
- Knowledge of ASRS, Manhattan and Warehouse Control System will be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across functions

This role is responsible for developing short- and long-term strategic planning of distribution network in assigned region, ensuring delivery of organizational goals and growth plans are achieved.
