Job Description
This role is responsible for developing short- and long-term strategic planning of distribution network in assigned region, ensuring delivery of organizational goals and growth plans are achieved. This role will also lead the distribution centers' strategy across the region, driving continuous improvement and implementing innovative methods to optimize distribution channels, maintaining high level of compliance, operational excellence and high quality service to clients.
**How you'll make an impact:**
+ Develop, plan and lead regional logistics and distribution strategy in alignment with growth plans, delivering on cost, quality and service objectives across transportation, carrier network, supply channels, and distribution centers.
+ Research and identify best practices and trends, prioritize and select appropriate projects, lead in identifying risks, developing complex mitigation strategies, defining best practices and alternative solutions, driving standardization and controls, and resolving issues in collaboration with cross-functional and/or corporate teams.
+ Direct team members and/or provide direction to matrix teams in the execution of the distribution network design and plans including identifying strategic providers, implementing sound supplier relationships and management processes, ensuring providers deliver on agreed commitments in partnership with cross functional stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Logistics) for issuance and/or implementation of regional and global contracts.
+ Develop a robust distribution management capability in the region, including mentoring and developing others as part of GSC talent development, succession planning and growth strategies.
+ Establish measure and maintain standards and expectations for on-time delivery between customers, carriers and distribution centers.
+ Establish strong partnership and act as liaison between stakeholders (e.g., Commercial teams, GPS&L and Supplier Quality organizations, and distribution centers' partners) while ensuring new product readiness indicators are in place and effective.
+ Responsible for driving performance improvements in the key indicators for distribution and/or end to end supply chain operations optimization and service levels, while meeting cost targets and establishing effective measures and standards.
+ Develop and lead the implementation of strategies to ensure business continuity. Identify, escalate, and develop plans to mitigate/eliminate risks, direct and communicate such strategies in collaboration with internal parties.
+ Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principle
+ Serve as core partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, Regions and IT
+ Other Project identified to support the Emerging market Growth
**What you'll need (Required):**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or relevant field with extensive experience in logistics
+ Experience with progressive responsibilities in Supply Chain network or manufacturing
+ Strong ability to establish strategic partnerships with Logistics Service Providers in driving delivery excellence and fulfilments
+ Proven expertise in warehouse and distribution technologies (e.g., RFID, WMS, Bar Coding)
+ Proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems including JDE, Advanced Planning Systems working with Demand Flow methodology

Key Responsibilities Strategy and Functional Management- Develop, communicate and execute the Supply Chain strategy for SEA in close collaboration with Supply Chain Global/Asia Pacific and SEA Commercial team.
- Develop procedures and processes to support optimal service levels to customers and suppliers by collaborating with Commercial, Customer Service, Finance and QSHE.
- Own the Supply Chain processes including Planning, Shipping, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics for products and value-added services.
- Own and improve SEA Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimize customer service levels and working capital using forecasting and inventory control best practices.
- Inbound Logistics – improve efficiencies and cost structure for ordering and importation of products.
- Manage stock levels, including safety stocks, lead times, delivery optimization and distribution requirements planning (DRP) to ensure inventory is maintained at the optimum levels in the optimum locations.
- Optimize and maintain information flow on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure availability of up-to-date delivery information.
- Lead and communicate the development of Warehousing & Delivery processes from arrival of goods into the warehouses to the delivery to customers.
- Enhance, identify and invest in value-added services including physical and virtual receiving, checking, storing, sampling, toll manufacturing (repackaging, mixing and blending), picking, staging, inspecting, loading, routing, and delivery to support Commercial Customer Strategies.
- Manage and maintain efficient, cost-effective, professional, on-time deliveries to customers.
- Oversee the management and performance of existing 3PL arrangements and assess current and future warehousing and logistics needs.

The role is a senior role, reporting to the DSI Managing Director. The holder will be responsible for:
1. Operationalising and driving adoption of digital trade standards by engaging industry, building capacity and supporting pilots or proofs-of-concepts.
2. Developing and implementing initiatives to fill gaps in digital standards , which could be gaps in terms of sectors and industry, parts of the supply chain, or the gaps in standards themselves.
3. Enabling interoperability in standards and digital trust at scale, for instance by
4. Development and scaling of digital supply chain readiness and assessment programmes
5. Development of collaborations and partnerships to accomplish any of the above objectives
The diverse audiences that we seek to engage and inspire include corporates, industry associations, technology solution providers, governments and inter-government organisations.
Qualifications and Experience
· Singaporean or foreigners may apply with preference to those who have an MBA, Masters of Supply Chain, Engineering or technology and over 10 years of work experience.
· Fluency in English (written, oral) required; additional languages and work experience in other parts of the world (outside Asia) would be good.
· Work experience with trade and supply chain would be a plus. Functional roles that would help the holder include finance, compliance / customs, merchandising, shipping and logistics, or digital transformation. Experience in dealing with or working in trade platforms and service providers would be a plus.
Familiarity with trade standards, and digitalization of trade, a plus.

- Collaborates with stakeholders on business assumptions that impact supply chain planning. Evaluates market, commodity, product, and platform dynamics that may impact the CSG planning organization
- Drives business strategy and/or sales for new growth areas for server demand planning. Develops and executes a project plan to develop and deploy new capabilities for server planning
- 15+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Typically requires 7+ years of diversified leadership, planning, and organizational experience
- Demonstrated work experience in commodity planning, procurement, sales planning and/or production planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead through transformation and influence stakeholders internally and externally
- Effective influencing, executive communications and presentation skills
- Demonstrated organizational ability
- Undergraduate degree required. MBA is preferred.
