Job Description

• Prepare single-line schematics in AUTOCAD.
• Amend layout drawings and detail drawings.
• Assist in preparing project submission DWGS.
• Assist in material take-off.
• Assist in compiling the material list.
• Assist in preparing tender documents for submission.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering/material engineering.
• 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Working experience in the water or wastewater industry will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Be familiar with AUTOCAD and Bentley software.
• Must have advanced computer literacy, especially in Excel.

Design Drafter Responsibilities:

• Collecting structural materials required for designs.
• Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs.
• Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs.
• Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs.
• Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
• Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.
• Setting up drawing formats and configuration files.

Design Drafter Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a similar field.
• At least 2 year's experience as a design drafter or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and 3D modeling tools, such as SmartDraw and SketchUp.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles.
• Solid math and analytical skills.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Prepare technical drawings for siphonic roof drainage layouts, ensuring design compatibility with architects and consultants.
• Draft construction details, as-built drawings, and shop drawings based on design team inputs.

• Update drawing revisions, maintain drawing registers/documentation, and support BIM integration.

Job Scope:

• To produce detailed drawings and space planning using AutoCAD / Sketch-Up
• To produce quality rendered 3D colour perspectives / VR tour (Training provided)
• Liaise with designers concerning interior design layouts and drawings standards/details

Requirement:

• AutoCAD / 3D Max & Vray /Adobe Photoshop knowledge Adobe Illustrator/Sketch-Up knowledge
• Familiar with Singapore residential project layout
• Knowledge in other designing software will be an advantage
• Possess a creative flair & keen eye for details

Draftspersons are responsible for preparing and plotting architectural and interior design drawings. They also prepare tenders, as-built, and shop drawings.
