Qualifications:

- Familiarity with the financial sector in Singapore and a strong local customer network is advantageous.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English and Chinese, developed through extensive experience liaising with Chinese clients.
- Proactive, highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

**Overview:**
The Index & Data Solutions team (IDS) is responsible for the index and data strategy for the firm and the management of the commercial relationships with each provider. The Operations team within IDS handles all market data and index requests and works with the vendors to address various reporting, invoice processing and other needs in timely manner. The group is comprised of three key areas: Client Onboarding & Servicing, Market Data Operations, and Index Licensing Operations and has team members in Princeton, Atlanta, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Singapore and Budapest.
**Role Description:**
We are looking for a Vice President to join our Client Onboarding and Servicing team in Singapore to manage a small team of talented Singapore based individuals, both overseeing and contributing meaningfully to Aladdin Client Market Data support function. This candidate will (i) partner closely with the Aladdin Business to ensure a seamless Market Data onboarding experience for our clients as part of their Aladdin integration (ii) face off with external clients providing guidance and expertise for their Market Data needs and requirements through the Aladdin platform (iii) practice and encourage operational discipline ensuring all terms and conditions for use of third party data are strictly adhered to (iv) drive collaborative efforts with cross-functional leads in partnering teams to implement protocols and solutions to keep up with the evolving landscape of the Market Data space and the Aladdin Business (v) provide coaching and mentorship across the team, working alongside IDS leadership to further develop our global operations function.
The best candidate for this role is mature and will understand the importance of our firm's culture & principles in driving execution, and how to "connect the dots" with businesses & functions across the firm in order to deliver an exemplary client experience and mitigate operational risks. This individual is an independent critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to simplify and convey complex matters, assess problems and execute on solutions through thought leadership and accountability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Managea regional team of Market Data SMEs wholead the onboarding of Market Data for new and existing Aladdin clients
+ Actively coach and mentor individuals, provide regular feedback and create development plans
+ Lead/Coordinate changes to commercial subscriptions into existing entitlement workflow
+ Execute and ensure timely delivery of recurring monthly usage reporting
+ Provide request management support and transparencyto our Aladdin business partners and Aladdin Clients
+ Respond to business inquiries on market data products and services from our inventory
+ Collaborate withinternalRelationship Managementteam members on reconciliation projects (accounts, services and providers), offering ideas for improvements and working together to implement them

**Knowledge/Experience:**
+ Leader & people manager with 5-10 years relevant work experience
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree is required
+ Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) are required. Must be comfortable facing off with clients and senior stakeholders alike, influencing a broad range of audiences
+ Direct experience with BlackRock's Aladdin platform is preferred

We are seeking a Procurement professional to support the APJC data center operations space.
We are currently seeking a creative, driven, and forward-thinking sourcing and procurement professional to join our Data Center Services Procurement team in APJC.
This role focuses on sourcing and onboarding suppliers in APAC for Data Centre capex procurement categories including but not limited to construction, energy and water infrastructure, controls, professional services. The role develops and leverages market intelligence to diversify and develop our supplier base in new and existing regions within APAC to ensure a robust supply base that enables the business to scale quickly to meet our customer needs. You will create sourcing plans for each category and quickly deliver these through supplier capability reviews, pre-qualification and onboarding and master contract negotiations. It is critical that you identify ways to forge partnerships with new suppliers, evaluate suppliers' performance against clearly defined metrics that you will develop or improve together with internal stakeholders, and balance priorities of both Amazon and our suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. You will continually monitor the effectiveness of these new partnerships and take appropriate actions to ensure ongoing competitive sustainability of our supplier markets for upcoming projects.
Key job responsibilities
- Understand business needs, internal customers' requirements and concerns across all assigned categories, and then develop supplier sourcing strategies and timelines that addresses these specific business requirements, for each category and country, including but not limited to, category-specific characteristics, technical standards, local country regulations, local language, ease of doing business with suppliers in-market, and then acting as a project manager to drive to completion.
- Proactively engage, coordinate, communicate with internal customers regularly and expeditiously on all sourcing activities.
- Leverage market intelligence about the industry and supply market to identify viable suppliers for all assigned categories in existing and new regions, and to continually provide actionable insights to internal customers.
- Develop and implement key internal metrics/indicators to monitor and improve performance against business objectives, make informed business decisions and maintain sustainable supplier pools.
- Lead and manage all supplier onboarding activities, including negotiation of master contract terms with new suppliers to ensure they understand Amazon's business requirements.
- Drive process improvement initiatives that positively impact customers, stakeholders and the team. Create procedures and tools and simplify/improve those that already exist.
- Some travel is required (~30%)

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain or Engineering or equivalent, from an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years' relevant experience in sourcing/procurement/supply chain, in APAC countries and across diverse capex categories and project management.
- Experience in using market intelligence to aid sourcing/business activities, draw insights and communicating those insights to internal customers.
- Strong process improvement background with an emphasis on internal and external performance improvement and effectiveness mechanisms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain or Engineering or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated success in leveraging market intelligence to develop sourcing plans and successfully implemented and delivered significant benefits to customers.
- Demonstrated success in a metrics-oriented environment and an ability to create, track, and report out on metrics.
- Industry and supplier market knowledge in all major data center capex categories and experience in its procurement.
- PMP, Six Sigma or similar certification.
- Fluent in languages beyond English is a plus
