Job Purpose:


The Head of Risk Data Governance will lead the strategic oversight and operational execution of data governance across all risk domains, with a primary focus on the integrity, quality, and governance of market data used by Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Product Control. This role is pivotal in ensuring that risk-related data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.


As the global lead for risk data governance, the role will define and implement data quality standards, governance frameworks, and oversight mechanisms in close collaboration with global and regional stakeholders.

Simultaneously, the role will retain oversight of the accuracy, timeliness, and control of risk reporting in Asia, supporting both global market risk reporting & control initiatives and region-specific credit risk reporting requirements. There is a strong emphasis on delivering insightful, value-added analysis that supports strategic decision-making by senior management.


Based in Singapore, the Head will work closely with global stakeholders and will be expected to travel frequently to London to engage with senior leadership and governance forums. Risk Data Governance

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manager (Data Governance Operations), to join Workforce Singapore’s Data Strategy and Analytics Division. You will support the implementation of WSG's data governance policies, monitor data quality, in compliance with prevailing regulations. You will also manage administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of DSAD's initiatives.


  • Assist in the implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance with prevailing regulations. Maintain good documentation of frameworks, policies, and procedures for knowledge management.
  • Monitor data quality metrics, identify anomalies, and coordinate with relevant teams to address data incidents promptly.
  • Support data classification and access control policies, ensuring appropriate data handling and protection measures are in place.
  • Assist data requestors and data owners in adhering to prevailing standards when utilizing of Whole-of-Government (WOG) data sharing platforms.
  • Perform secretariate duties for DSAD meetings, including scheduling, preparing documentation, and tracking action items.
  • Manage logistical needs for DSAD engagements, including booking venues, tracking attendance, and preparing materials.
  • Perform other administrative tasks within the Division, including budget tracking and procurement processes, and work with division staff to improve on our internal processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote data literacy and stewardship across the organization, fostering a culture that values data as a strategic asset.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of data governance principles, data management, and data protection regulations, including familiarity with the Instruction Manual 8 (IM8).
  • Experience in administrative support, including meeting coordination, documentation, and event logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Aptitudes and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity and administrative accuracy.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a genuine interest in fostering a strong data culture within the organization.

Assistant Director

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the Cluster Data Exchange Office (DXO) and Chief Data Office (CDO). This role involves managing data governance, facilitating data sharing, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data policies.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance and Management (45%)

  • Lead data request evaluations and governance processes in alignment with MOH Health Instruction Manual (HIM) guidelines
  • Manage and review data requests within established timeframes while maintaining strict data security protocols
  • Serve as Trusted Third Party for de-identification and anonymisation processes
  • Develop and mentor reporting staff through training and development initiatives

Strategic Data Operations (45%)

  • Oversee cluster-wide data management and sharing initiatives across the public healthcare sector
  • Manage NHG's data assets throughout the 4-stage data lifecycle (Acquisition, Fusion, Access & Distribution, Exploitation)
  • Collaborate with institutional stakeholders (CHRO, GCHRO, GCIO, GDPO, GCISO) to enhance data capabilities
  • Resolve intra- and inter-cluster data disputes
  • Provide strategic input to CDO council and Senior Management meetings

Additional Responsibilities (10%)

  • Execute special projects and initiatives as directed by DXO or CDO offices
  • Support continuous improvement of data management processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Healthcare professional with strong interest in informatics and governance
  • Tertiary degree in information management or related field (preferred)
  • Preferably with 10-15 years relevant healthcare experience, with focus on clinical or healthcare informatics/governance
  • Demonstrated experience in data protection and privacy compliance
