Responsibilities:

  • Perform compensation benchmarking studies using regional survey data to ensure market competitiveness across Asian countries. Manage Asia salary range updates based on market insights.
  • Provide Compensation Program Support by assisting in the design, implementation, and administration of base pay, incentive plans, and other reward programs tailored to local practices and regulations.

  • Project Participation such as contributing to global and regional compensation projects, including pay equity analysis, system enhancements, career framework improvements, training delivery, and communications.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a global or regional role.
  • Possess strong understanding of compensation practices and labor regulations in Asian markets (e.g., China, India, Japan, Southeast Asia).
  • Experience managing or supporting global recognition or rewards programs.
  • Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP).
  • Familiarity with compensation data surveys (e.g., Radford, Mercer, WTW, IPAS).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Experience with global compensation survey providers (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson) strongly preferred.
  • Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting expatriate or mobility programs strongly preferred.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will:

• Formulate policies and solutions pertaining to compensation, organisational design, organisational structure planning and job grading/evaluation for the Singapore Public Service. This involves reviewing and analysing internal practices to understand the needs and challenges across the Public Service; and developing deep expertise and specialist knowledge in (a) formulating performance and market-based rewards framework and compensation packages and (b) organisational design, organisational structure planning, job grading/evaluation methodologies.

• Identify and evaluate competitive threats, labour and market trends, and anticipate future challenges in the area of total rewards.

• (Compensation) Knowledge and appreciation of compensation principles and practices to lead the reviews of compensation programmes and initiatives. Experience in salary benchmarking, salary structure and incentives design will be beneficial.

• (Organisation Design): Ability to design and conduct organisational diagnosis and strategic visioning with stakeholders to assess and analyse current state and needs. Ability to integrate different job grades to develop the proposed organisation structure.

• (Total Rewards) Ability to understand, develop and design total rewards strategies that are aligned with the organisation's employee value proposition, drive high organisation performance and promote retention.
(Work Experience)

• At least 2 years of experience in policy development or HR work, specifically in the related areas of compensation and job grading/evaluation, as well as organisational design and organisational structure planning.

• Familiarity and experience with data processes would be advantageous. This entails understanding best practices, engaging stakeholders to co-create a portfolio of standard and customised data products, and working with systems and processes to ensure that data is captured and analysed in a way that is useful to stakeholders.

Duration: 6 months, long term extendable

Working Location: One North (Walking distance from MRT)

Working hours: 08.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 08.30am – 5.30pm (Friday)

Job Summary

As the healthcare company Compensation and Payroll Senior Executive, you will support the Corporate Office Performance & Reward team on compensation initiatives and to ensure timely and accurate payroll in compliance with the relevant government regulations.

Job Responsibilities

§  Assist the Compensation and Payroll Manager on compensation initiatives and payroll matters.

§  Support the payroll validation for the institutions under healthcare cluster to ensure timely and accurate payment, including annual bonus payment, annual salary increment and promotion exercise.

§  Partner with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) to roll out compensation programmes for healthcare Corporate Office.

§  Participate in the manpower planning budget system (MPBS) implementation and automation of inter-company billing (ICB) process.

§  Collaborate with payroll partners and system owners, liaising on issues in the implementation of policies/ programmes.

§  Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

§  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent.

§  At least 2 to 3 years of experience in managing a Compensation/Payroll function for an organization with more than 1000 staff.

§  Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines.

§  Self-directed individual with initiative, analytical, good problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex documents. Strong detail orientation.

§  High level of proficiency with MS Excel.

§  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
