Job Description
We are continuously looking for team players who will stop at nothing to deliver state-of-the-art solutions as part of Team Rapsodo.
The Role
As we scale globally, we're looking for a Compensation & Systems Analyst who thrives at the intersection of payroll, analytics and systems. We're ambitious, focused, and growing. We're building lean teams of sharp thinkers who want to make an impact - not just do tasks. If you're excited about using analytics to strengthen decision-making and elevate how HR partners with the business, you might be our next teammate.
This is not a "just process payroll" job. This is a role for someone who loves to build structure, bring clarity to complexity, and design better ways to get things done. You'll work cross-functionally with Finance, HRBPs, and other leads - and become the go-to for all things pay and process.
This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of hands-on compensation or payroll experience who is ready to grow their scope and shape scalable people systems.
Responsibilities
Compensation Analytics
• Analyze compensation data to support fair, competitive, and data-driven pay decisions.
• Track market trends and benchmarking insights to keep our pay structure sharp and equitable.
• Build reports and dashboards that turn numbers into strategy.
Payroll Management
• Lead end-to-end payroll - accurately, on time, and fully compliant.
• Collaborate with Finance to align payroll execution with budgets and forecasts.
• Handle payroll queries with clarity and empathy - making complex things simple.
Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain clean records and audit-ready reports for internal stakeholders and regulators.
• Document processes and continuously improve them - no bloated steps, no black boxes.
HR Operations Support
• Own HR systems and ensure data integrity for everything from new joiners to exits.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
• Partner with HRBPs to bring visibility and precision into people decisions.
Employee Experience
• Be the friendly face behind our systems - helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive.
• Educate employees and managers on tools, policies, and processes - with clarity and care.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with solid experience in compensation analytics and/or payroll operations (2-3 years).
• Strong with HR systems, Excel/Sheets, and comfortable navigating HRIS or benchmarking tools.
• Detail-obsessed, with a love for clean data and well-run processes.
• Working knowledge of employment law, payroll compliance, and tax regulations.
• Great communicator - you explain policies and processes with empathy, not jargon.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
Why Rapsodo?
• We're shaping the future of sports tech, and we're just getting started.
• You'll get to build, not just manage.
• We care about learning agility, not just what you've done before.
• You'll work on real challenges - the kind that make your resume (and brain) stronger.
If you're looking for a role where you can contribute, learn, and leave things better than you found them - apply now and help us scale with insight and precision.
