We’re looking for a Clinical Sales & Product Specialist to represent our cutting-edge surgical devices and build strong, trusted relationships with healthcare professionals. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving product adoption and sales by working directly with surgeons and medical staff in the operating theatre. Your clinical background will be essential in making real-time product recommendations and ensuring optimal patient care during procedures.
What You’ll Do:Drive Sales in the Operating Theatre: Act as the key point of contact for surgical devices, engaging directly with surgeons and medical staff during procedures. You’ll be in the action, demonstrating and explaining the product’s features, ensuring seamless product adoption, and driving sales.
Build Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture trusted relationships with key healthcare professionals, providing ongoing support and product knowledge to meet their needs and drive repeat sales.
Product Demonstrations & Training: Lead hands-on product demos and in-service training sessions with medical teams, ensuring they are comfortable and proficient in using the devices.
Meet Sales Targets: Work independently to meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on direct engagement with healthcare professionals to drive product sales within your designated region or accounts.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with internal teams such as Quality Assurance and Operations to resolve any product issues, address customer concerns, and maintain a smooth sales process.
Market & Product Knowledge: Stay informed about emerging trends, new products, and competitive offerings, sharing this knowledge with both the team and clients to stay ahead in the market.
Inventory Management & Consignment: Oversee product inventory levels and consignment stock at customer locations to ensure availability when needed and avoid stockouts.
Clinical Background with Sales Focus: You hold a degree or diploma in Nursing , Physiotherapy , Medical Technology , Life Sciences , Engineering , or a related field. You have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in the operating theatre or 2+ years in a clinical support or sales role within the medical device industry.
Self-Driven & Results-Oriented: As an individual contributor, you take ownership of your work and are highly motivated to hit and exceed sales targets.
Clinical Expertise: You have a solid understanding of surgical procedures, device usage, and the clinical environment, which you leverage to confidently make product recommendations.
Strong Sales Instincts: You have the ability to sell and promote products in high-pressure, real-time situations, making your clinical skills work for you in a sales context.
Detail-Oriented & Effective Communicator: You can manage complex information and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, ensuring they fully understand product benefits and usage.
