Medical Laboratory Technologist

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests including urine microscopy, full blood count, and HbA1c.
• Handle patient registration, specimen reception, preparation, and packing with precision.
• Conduct point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, electrocardiograms (ECG), and spirometry efficiently.

You will be required to sort specimens sent to the laboratory, key the test orders into the computer system, answer phone calls pertaining to laboratory enquiries as well as attend to walk in patients/visitors. Other job duties may include drawing blood from mostly paediatric patients (fingerprick technique, training will be provided).
