Responsibilities
Payroll Administration & Compliance
- Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including employee compensation, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation, tax regulations, and internal policies for both local and foreign employees.
- Oversee monthly CPF (Central Provident Fund) payments, NS (National Service) make-up pay claims, government-paid leave claims, and other payroll-related processes.
Tax Filings & Reporting
- Ensure the accurate and timely filing of tax documents for all employees, ensuring compliance with local and international tax requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, government bodies, and tax authorities as necessary.
Grant & Leave Claims Management
- Oversee the submission of various government-related claims, including grant claims and leave-related reimbursements.
- Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of all employee claims in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
Internal Controls & Payroll Systems
- Implement and monitor internal controls for payroll processes to prevent discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records and processes to maintain compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification
- 3+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a payroll processing role or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industry will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with HRIS SuccessFactors system and Microsoft Office Suite.
