What you will be responsible for:
Manage, monitor, and optimize NetApp storage systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
Design and implement effective data backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data security and integrity.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Perl, Shell) to streamline storage management and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues, providing technical support as needed.
Administer and optimize Red Hat systems, including configuration, performance tuning, and fault diagnosis.
Conduct storage capacity planning, assess future storage needs, and recommend scalable expansion solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
How you will stand out:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of experience managing NetApp storage systems, with proficiency in ONTAP OS.
Strong understanding of storage network protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC) and related hardware.
Hands-on experience with data backup and recovery technologies, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and NDMP.
Proficient in automation scripting (Python, Perl, Shell) for storage management.
Experienced in Red Hat system administration, including command-line operations and system management tools.
Skilled in configuring, monitoring, and optimizing NetApp storage systems for performance and reliability.
