Role & Responsibility

• We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Architect - Cloud with extensive experience in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, ELT processes, and big data technologies like Apache Spark.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, strong programming skills in Java and Python, and a deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and governance.
• Architect and design cloud-based data infrastructure to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of data pipelines (ELT/ETL) using Databricks, Spark, and other big data technologies.
• Optimize the use of cloud-native platforms like Snowflake for high-performance data warehousing and analytics.
• Experience with integration on relevant tools and software such as Terraform, Ansible, SonarQube, Nexus, Gitlab.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and secure data architectures.
• Implement data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Experience in DevSecOps design and development within the Public Sector with relevant project clearances.
• Knowledge or understanding of project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Analytics, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience in data architecture and data engineering.
• Proven expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipeline design, data warehousing, and data lakes.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
