Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible and Python for configuration management, application deployment, and task orchestration across Linux (primarily RHEL) and Windows server environments.
- Assist in the administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, including patch management, user management, and performance tuning.
- Support the automation of tasks within Windows Server environments, including scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for operational efficiency.
- Configure, manage, and optimize batch processing and job scheduling using Control-M to ensure reliable and timely execution of critical IT operations.
- Collaborate with middleware, system administration, and database (DBA) teams to identify manual processes and propose automation solutions, including developing tools on the OutSystems low-code platform.
- Participate in the deployment and management of applications and services across SIT, UAT, and Production environments, ensuring consistency and reliability through automation.
- Utilize and contribute to monitoring platforms like Dynatrace and Grafana to analyze system performance, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to incident management and problem resolution, leveraging automation to improve response times and reduce manual effort.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
Requirements:
- Must be a Singaporean citizen due to G50 security clearance requirements by the client.
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of practical experience in IT operations, system administration, or automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Foundational knowledge and practical experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
- Basic to intermediate experience with Windows Server administration and scripting (PowerShell).
- Experience with Control-M for job scheduling and workflow orchestration.
- Familiarity with the OutSystems low-code development platform (e.g., building basic applications or process automation flows).
- Knowledge of and practical experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Grafana.
- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desired (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
- Understanding of middleware technologies (e.g., Apache, Nginx, Kong, Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Automation Test Engineer with proven expertise in Java Selenium, as well as modern front-end testing tools like Cypress and Playwright. You will be responsible for creating scalable automation frameworks, executing tests across web and API layers, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium (Java), Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript), and Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define and implement test strategies across UI and API layers.
- Automate test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.
- Build and maintain scalable test scripts and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Conduct API testing using REST Assured or Postman and validate backend services.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ensure quality across releases.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in test automation with expertise in Java Selenium.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of modern automation frameworks like POM, BDD, or hybrid models.
