Job Scope

- Carry out PCR test kit production and testing in the lab.

- Manage day-to-day production of LyoBB from frozen breast milk to powder packaging.

- Maintain production records of all freeze-dried products in accordance with ISO standards.

- Maintain freeze-drying machines in good working condition.

Job Description

- Perform daily duties for lab operation such as sample management (receiving/inspection/processing/storage/inventory/return), deparaffinization, image acquisition, quality verification and project management. To be done in accordance with all Quality standards and Safety standards in place.

- Oversee and manage general laboratory duties including roster, lab documents/logs/records, equipment calibration, equipment and other laboratory materials/facilities.

- Operation, basic servicing and maintenance of Lab equipment used for imaging services to minimize the machine downtime.

- Purchasing, inventory management and replenishment of general consumables for laboratory use.

- Develop and maintain relevant documentation pertaining to laboratory including SOP/WI/policies.

- Maintain Quality Control for all activities related to imaging services.

- Assist on other assigned tasks/activities as requested by Lab Manager.

Job Requirements

- Education in relevant fields with at least 1 year of working experience in laboratory environment

- Good written/verbal communication skills, responsible, meticulous and self-motivated with minimum supervision

- Knowledge on GLP, GCP and laboratory information management systems will be plus points

• Execute daily calibration and testing tasks in compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Identify, report, and take corrective actions for defective or non-conforming equipment and instruments.
• Ensure accurate sampling, repeat cycles of measurements, and proper completion of calibration procedures in line with international/national standards.
• Prepare calibration data clearly and accurately in job order forms, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Perform and verify budget uncertainty calculations in accordance with GUM (Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement).
• Analyze calibration data and expanded uncertainties, ensuring compliance with the laboratory's calibration and measurement capability (CMC).
• Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance with 5S / 7S practices, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of reference instruments.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with WSH and safety regulations.

• No prior experience or specific education background required - training will be provided.

Our laboratory is seeking a skilled and experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, laboratory management, and quality control.

• Receive, collect, and sort samples for testing and analysis.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality checks, documenting results accurately and reporting any deviations or anomalies.
• Investigate root causes of issues and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain, calibrate, validate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Manage laboratory inventory, including stock checks and ordering supplies to maintain adequate levels.
• Participate in inspections, shift handovers, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the laboratory's overall performance.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• NITEC or Diploma in Material Science or Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Description

Supports the laboratory technical staff in the areas of specimen processing, and procurement and may perform lab testing under the direct supervision of medical technologists.

1. Follow all laboratory protocols and policies in checking specimens (e.g. COVID, blood, stool, urine, etc) received & make sure that names tally with the request forms for testing.
2. Follow test requirements of reference laboratory & procure appropriate specimens for testing.
3. Perform barcoding samples & process laboratory specimens received from patients under prescribed laboratory guidelines.
4. Utilizes centrifuges & other lab equipment to process specimens & prepares them for testing.
5. Receives requested stock items & distributes them to the appropriate place within the laboratory.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum N-Level
• Relevant work experience in a medical laboratory environment. (Candidates without experience are welcome to apply)
• Able to start work immediately.
• Able to work 5.5 days/week + Rotational shifts (Including weekends and rostered PH).
