Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Salvage Operations: Manage and coordinate salvage efforts for distressed vessels and cargoes, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
2. Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks, potential damage, and environmental impact of distressed vessels and cargoes.
3. Strategy Development: Plan and execute salvage operations, considering technical, logistical, and financial factors.
Key Tasks:
1. Coordinate with Stakeholders: Liaise with vessel owners, insurers, authorities, and salvage teams to respond to distressed vessel situations.
2. Monitor Progress: Track salvage operations, identifying issues and implementing solutions to recover distressed vessels and cargoes.
3. Ensure Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental protocols during salvage operations.
Required Skills:
1. Marine salvage expertise
2. Strong communication and coordination skills
3. Risk management and problem-solving abilities
4. Leadership and team management
5. Bachelor's degree
6. Relevant Salvaging of distressed vessels and cargos experience
7. Excellent business acumen, motivated team player and action-oriented
excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
Work Schedule
1. 6 days' work week.
2. Able to work 12 hours shift
