Role Summary
The Senior Software Engineer is a highly hands-on role responsible for building, deploying and operating AI-enabled healthcare products at EndeavourX. The role focuses on delivering production-quality software that integrates with real-world systems and supports deployment in regulated healthcare environments, including implementing and integrating LLM-based features.
Key Responsibilities
Software Design & Development
- Own end-to-end development of backend and full-stack components for AI-enabled healthcare products.
- Translate product requirements into well-structured software designs, APIs and data flows.
- Rapidly prototype, iterate and deploy features in response to product and clinical feedback.
- Integrate applications with external systems (APIs, data sources, healthcare platforms).
Applied AI / LLM Integration
- Implement and integrate LLM-based capabilities (e.g. retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, context management) within production applications.
- Work with data scientists to operationalise model outputs, embeddings, vector search and retrieval pipelines.
- Implement data preprocessing, chunking, indexing and retrieval logic to support RAG workflows.
- Evaluate and tune LLM-based features for latency, reliability, cost and user experience in real-world use.
Deployment & Operational Delivery
- Participate directly in deployment activities, configuration and production support.
- Ensure software is reliable, observable and maintainable in real-world use.
- Support incident investigation and resolution as needed.
Quality & Regulated Delivery Support
- Follow development and documentation practices aligned with ISO 13485 / IEC 62304.
- Maintain code quality, versioning, traceability and documentation required for regulated products.
- Participate in design reviews, risk discussions and change assessments related to clinical safety and system reliability.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Cloud Architect, data scientists and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Review code, contribute to technical discussions and support continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Support coordination with external development teams when required.
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java).
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Experience working across the full software lifecycle, including production support.
- Experience implementing or integrating LLM-based features (e.g. RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering).
- Familiarity with applied machine learning concepts (e.g. model inputs/outputs, evaluation metrics, data preprocessing).
- Experience working within quality systems or regulated development environments preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, medtech, digital health or other related domains is an advantage.

Role Summary
The Cloud Architect will be responsible for EndeavourX’s cloud infrastructure to support AI-enabled software as a medical device (SaMD) products. This role requires a strong coding background and hands-on experience implementing production-grade systems on AWS.
You will be responsible for creating secure, scalable and compliant cloud platforms that support model training, inference, application services and integrations with healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Platform Design
- Own end-to-end technical architecture across application, data and infrastructure layers, including system integration patterns.
- Design and implement AWS-based cloud architectures to support AI/ML workloads, APIs and user-facing applications.
- Define platform standards and reference architectures for EndeavourX products.
- Architect for availability, scalability, observability and cost control.
Hands-on Engineering
- Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid but controlled deployment of services.
- Develop and deploy production-quality platform automation, deployment tooling and integrations.
- Support containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS).
Security, Reliability & Compliance Enablement
- Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management, network security).
- Design logging, monitoring and alerting to support operational reliability and auditability.
- Support infrastructure practices aligned with regulated SaMD development (e.g. traceability, change control, environment segregation).
Collaboration & Operations
- Work with product and engineering stakeholders to translate function and non-functional requirements into system and solution designs.
- Work closely with software developers, data scientists and product teams to translate product needs into infrastructure solutions.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting and incident response.
- Review and guide vendor development teams on cloud architecture, security and deployment practices when required.
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 7–10 years of experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure roles.
- Strong coding background (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar) and hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerisation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, realiability and production operations.

JOB PURPOSE
The Associate Consultant in Radiation Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS), National University Hospital (NUH), is responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based radiation therapy to oncology patients. The role encompasses comprehensive clinical care across the full spectrum of radiation oncology, including consultation, treatment planning, treatment delivery oversight, on-treatment review, and survivorship care. The Associate Consultant is expected to develop subspecialty expertise within radiation oncology, provide clinical leadership to junior medical staff and allied health professionals, contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and participate in clinical and translational research to advance the practice of radiation oncology within NCIS and NUHS.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES (90%)
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology consultations, including patient assessment, staging, treatment intent determination, and informed consent, in accordance with institutional, NUH, and Ministry of Health (MOH) policies and guidelines.
- Formulate individualised radiation treatment plans in collaboration with medical physicists and dosimetrists, utilising advanced techniques including Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), brachytherapy, and adaptive radiotherapy.
- Perform accurate target volume delineation and critical organ-at-risk contouring using appropriate imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET-CT) and contouring guidelines.
- Supervise and verify radiation treatment delivery, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment parameters and radiation safety protocols in compliance with the Radiation Protection Act and institutional safety standards.
- Conduct regular on-treatment reviews, manage acute radiation toxicities, and coordinate supportive care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary cancer care team.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumour boards (e.g., Head & Neck, Breast, Thoracic, GI, GU, CNS, Gynaecological, Paediatric) to formulate evidence-based, patient-centred treatment recommendations.
- Provide radiation oncology input for combined modality treatments, including concurrent chemoradiation, and collaborate closely with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and other specialists within NCIS.
- Manage radiation oncology emergencies and provide on-call coverage as rostered by the Head of Department.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Demonstrate and continuously develop subspecialty expertise within radiation oncology to attract referrals and strengthen NCIS's clinical capabilities in specific disease sites or techniques.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations, quality assurance protocols, and institutional clinical governance frameworks.
- Where serious or major clinical situations arise that may affect the well-being or lives of patients, inform and consult the Head, Department of Radiation Oncology, NCIS at the earliest opportunity.
- Be prepared to perform the duties of the next lower grade if necessary to ensure continuity of patient care.
B. TEACHING & TRAINING (5%)
- Contribute to the teaching and training of Registrars, Resident Physicians, medical students (NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine), and allied health professionals rotating through the Department of Radiation Oncology, NCIS.
- Participate in the NCIS Radiation Oncology residency training programme, including bedside teaching, case-based discussions, contouring workshops, and simulation-based training.
- Support the development of educational materials, e-learning resources, and continuing medical education (CME) activities within the department.
- Serve as a clinical supervisor and mentor to junior doctors, fostering a culture of professional development and lifelong learning.
C. RESEARCH & INNOVATION (5%)
- Establish and participate in clinical and translational research activities within the field of radiation oncology, collaborating with cross-disciplinary clinical and scientific partners where appropriate.
- Contribute to investigator-initiated trials, cooperative group studies, and institutional research programmes aligned with NCIS's research strategy.
- Seek competitive research funding through NMRC, MOH, and other grant agencies to support radiation oncology research within NCIS and NUHS.
- Ensure commitment to the ethical conduct of research, including adherence to institutional review board (IRB) requirements and responsible management of conflicts of interest.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of novel radiation therapy technologies, including but not limited to artificial intelligence (AI) in treatment planning, adaptive radiotherapy, proton therapy, and FLASH radiotherapy.
