Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

Job Summary:
• Basic Salary: $3,500 to $5,000 (depending on relevant exp)
• Performance Bonuses

• Working Hours: Mon to Fri (9am – 6pm)
• Location: Jalan Buroh (company transport provided at Clementi MRT)

Responsibilities:
• Regularly monitor the performance of suppliers and service providers, actively support respective audits and establish/implement corrective actions. 
• Monitor and drive overall performance (e.g. quality, cost and delivery) across the supply chain, optimising costs whilst ensuring continuity of supply.
• Drive the Make or Buy and supplier/source selection process; participate in establishment, evaluation and approval of specifications for issuance and award of bids.
• Coordinate & manage supplier relationships, performance and claims (especially for strategic and bottleneck suppliers).
• Engage in contract and price negotiation with suppliers.
• Identify and evaluate future capability/sourcing needs; vendor sourcing and supplier development in compliance with the company’s strategy and policies. 
• Ensure conformance of supply chain & procurement business as well as supplier activities to valid applicable company policies, processes and governance at all times. 
• Establish and lead a robust purchase-to-payment process and ensure compliance at all times.
• Propose, participate in and support relevant Continuous Improvement initiatives/projects.
• Monitor spending and compliance with budgets, as well as market conditions and merchandise costs including regular or ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
