Senior Staff Nurse (Dept of Child Development) Senior Staff Nurse (Dept of Child Development)

Nursing - Theatre & Recovery (Healthcare & Medical)

  • Facilitate and provide management of children with developmental delay and high risk infants with a team of professionals, consisting of doctors, psychologists, medical social workers, education facilitators and therapists in an outpatient setting. 
  • Perform baselines screening of children with developmental delay.
  • Communicate with clients in identifying / assessing their needs.
  • Provide counseling and education to clients and ensure follow up actions are carried out.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all activities into IT system or case notes.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital or department and to nursing procedures, standards and practices.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by Nurse Manager.

In addition, you will also demonstrate self-direction, teaching and communication skills and to participate in activities related to the smooth operation of the department.

Job requirement

  • Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma / Post Basic Certificate in Nursing and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience as Staff Nurse I
  • Possesses good clinical knowledge, skills and teaching ability
