Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, APAC HSSE, the Executive, APAC HSSE will assist in the day to day management of APAC HSSE functions. As the APAC HSSE Executive, you will collaborate with various SATS APAC business units to enhance HSSE performance, mitigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate Safety Culture:
  • Collaborate closely with SATS APAC business units to instill and nurture a safety-first mindset.
  • Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing safety performance and reducing incidents and associated costs.
  • Committee Support:
  • Serve as the secretariat for SATS APAC Committee meetings, ensuring seamless coordination and documentation.
  • Provide support for stakeholder meetings, including Safety Sustainability Risk Committee (SSRC) / Safety Sustainability Risk Management Committee (SSRMC) meetings.
  • Safety Management:
  • Lead HSSE Management Assurance programs and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to HSSE protocols.
  • Monitor and report on HSSE performance metrics, objectives, and trends, taking proactive measures to address adverse trends.
  • Oversee SATS APAC Aviation Safety Incident and Occupational Safety Incident Management processes, ensuring swift resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Monitor compliance with SATS regulations, keeping abreast of evolving requirements and ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Project Monitoring:
  • Monitor APAC HSSE improvement projects, providing guidance and support to ensure timely execution and desired outcomes.
  • Initiative Oversight:
  • Oversee SATS APAC safety and security rewards initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and recognizing outstanding safety achievements.
  • Provide guidance and strategic direction for SATS APAC HSSE training initiatives, ensuring comprehensive coverage of relevant topics and effective delivery methods.

Key Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience including Aviation Operations or Safety
  • Good knowledge of local and international regulations relating to Aviation Operations and/or Safety and familiar with ISO 45001 management system, ISAGO etc
  • Familiar with Internal Audits and experience and qualifications as Internal auditor
  • Proficient in MS office with experience in managing enterprise wide management system platform which includes data analytics and digital dashboards to drive decision making
  • Highly motivated and focused individual who is a team player and outcome orientated
  • Able to multi-task and work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment across multiple business verticals
  • Able to engage and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders across and outside the organisation which includes authorities, senior management, ground staff and board members
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation), interpersonal skills, planning and organizing skill
