Full Job Description

Focused on developing products and services for the digital assets sector, Bullish has rewired the traditional exchange to benefit asset holders, enable traders and increase market integrity. Reports to:

Director, Engineering

The successful candidate will join the quantitative engineering team at Bullish. The team is responsible for developing and implementing the algorithms and mathematical models for the exchange's core business logic.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and test new product features, and in addition, maintain and improve existing ones.

  • Write clear, high-quality, optimized, and maintainable code.

  • Provide support, and help identify and debug issues in production.

  • Contribute to designing product features and core business logic.

  • Implement mathematical models and algorithms in production-quality code.

  • Write and maintain comprehensive test cases. 

  • Interact regularly with Product Managers, Quants, Tech Ops Engineers etc, ...


Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java programming.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar quantitative field.

  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

  • Some experience with mathematical models in finance or physical sciences.

  • Basic understanding of CI/CD.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Passion for learning new technologies and concepts.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in building trading/risk systems.

  • CFA or Master's degree in quantitative finance.
