Principal / Centre Manager

Location: Sixth Avenue / Bukit Timah Area

Salary : $4,000 - $5,000

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee an established childcare centre to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Oversee scheduling and planning of staff scheduling and child’s daily routine to ensure well-­being of the children in center
• Work closely with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance and best support
• Work closely with management and rest of the teaching and non-teaching team to ensure staff well-being and morale
• Support enrollment and be a spokesperson for the school’s Montessori system to be able to explain benefits of the system to parents
• Build rapport with student and parents in order to facilitate open communication and trust.
• Prepare/Review lessons plans, conduct lesson evaluation, prepare/review teaching aids and review children’s portfolio in order to facilitate the optimal development of each child
• Plan, organize, oversee and participate in school activities inside and outside of the class in order to extend and the experiences and development of the children
• Perform other related duties as assigned by director

Requirements:

• Diploma in Pre­school Teaching / Early Childhood Care & Education–Leadership (DECCE­-L) or higher
• Min 2 years in teaching position certify as L2 by ECDA
