Full Job Description

Role: Lead Business Analyst (Wealth Management Domain)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with a comprehensive understanding of the Wealth Management domain and expertise in Temenos Transact modules, particularly focusing on Wealth-related modules. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively translate requirements into clear and concise specifications. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, leading discussions, conducting feasibility studies, and guiding junior BAs to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Gathering and Translation: Facilitate effective communication between parties and translate requirements into clear and concise specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  2. Feasibility Studies and Workshops: Conduct feasibility studies, lead requirements and solutions discussion workshops, and provide guidance to a small team for projects as needed.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between clients, development teams, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment of objectives and expectations.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, external teams, and clients to identify user requirements and specifications, and work with internal teams and departments to deliver requirement specifications.
  5. Project Management: Create project timelines for specification delivery, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met effectively.
  6. Non-Functional Requirements: Articulate non-functional requirements clearly, ensuring they are addressed appropriately in the solution design.
  7. Solution Decision Making: Make solution decisions and provide direction to the team based on business needs and technical considerations.
  8. Peer Review: Conduct peer reviews of specifications where required, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
  9. Functional Testing: Perform simple functional testing based on requirements to ensure alignment with specifications and user expectations.
  10. Agile Methodology: Demonstrate understanding of Agile methodology and utilize tools such as the JIRA platform for project management and issue tracking.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on the Wealth Management domain and Temenos Transact modules.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments such as Securities, Derivatives, and Structured Products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead discussions, conduct workshops, and mentor junior BAs to achieve project success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and provide direction to the team.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools like JIRA.
  • A learning mindset, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
